Reliance Foundation's Founder and Chairperson is Nita M. Ambani. Reliance Foundation was founded in 2010 by Smt. Nita M Ambani to support RIL's various philanthropic projects.

The major goal of this scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to deserving and differently-abled students in class 12 so that they can continue their studies. The Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship 2021 aims to improve access to education while also raising social standards.

Since its inception in 1996, the Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship has helped over 11,500 deserving students, with 50% of scholarship recipients being female and 20% being particularly able.

Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet certain criteria to be considered for the Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship. These requirements are based on the pupils' age, economic condition, and academic achievement.

  1. This scholarship is available to students who have earned a spot on the CBSE/State Board merit list for class 12.
  2. Candidates must be under the age of 20 on April 30th of the year in which they apply.
  3. The candidate's family's annual income should be less than INR 4.50 lakh.

Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Benefits

The level of funds aid provided by the Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Program differs as per the degree to which applicants have been approved. In terms of income, gender, social group, and geography, there are major disparities in secondary education access. The capacity of India's secondary schooling system must be greatly increased. Candidates that are chosen will receive a monetary prize.

  • Students would be paid INR 36,000 each year for the duration of their engineering studies.

The Reliance Foundation offers Letters of Eligibility to the top 15 scorers in each state, save Maharashtra, Goa, and Gujarat, since the scholarship would be only available to those who are among the highest CBSE/State Board students.

Ques. In what manner is the scholarship money distributed to students in successive periods?

Ans. Students must submit copies of their previous year's mark sheets and current fee receipts in order for the scholarship to be continued in subsequent years. The Reliance Foundation then transfers the scholarship money straight into the student's account.
