While going through colleges in Canada for higher studies I found this college and it was rated as one of the best universities in Canada and it has a good alumni network because it was established back in 1830. This was the main reason why joined the university. I filled the form online which cost me around $180.
The main component of the course includes Network theory, advanced mathematics and statistics, programming, data structure and algorithm. Other different fields like android development, data science and website development are also given the priority.
I opted for this particular college because I liked the programs and the overall atmosphere of the university. They have a downtown campus and two satellite campuses; one in Mississauga and another in Scarborough. I liked that it was close to my hometown as well.
I can't actually make a decision yet as I don't know how much of what I'm learning right now will apply to grad school or to jobs outside of university. Currently, I think the curriculum is reasonable.
UTSC has the coop program which will allow me to have experience should I decide to apply to medical college. I have friends who have gone through the coop program and who now have job offers at their locations when they graduate and I wanna try for that too
I think it's alright so far. It's a general first year so I'll still have to go through it but there is definitely useful information that I see useful outside of the classroom. It helps me to apply my knowledge and enhance my learning and expand my curiosity.
