For my program bow valley and olds college was the only places I knew that offered veterinary assistant. I wanted to stay in Calgary so I chose bow valley. The admission process was easy. It was a $75 application fee and from there I was accepted. I had graduated high school so my transcripts were sent over with my application. I heard good things about bow valley such as they were organized and very helpful. I am happy to stay in Calgary with my friends and family and learn about the things that I love.
The course curriculum really covers the veterinary assistant scope of practice quite well. It also educated that there is a possibility of being cross-trained depending on where you work.
Closest and most affordable. Admission was fairly easy and painless. I only applied to one. I chose this college as it was the only one I was eligible for and it's the most affordable near my city. Fees are usually between $2100-$2300 per semester including books and tuition. I chose this college for the Justice program
