Formerly founded as the Ursuline College in Ontario, Brescia University College was established in 1919 and is the only Women’s University in Canada. There are over 1,400 undergraduate students currently studying various UG courses at Brescia amongst which 11% of the students are from all over the world.

The university offers various undergraduate courses, one masters course, and two postgraduate certificate courses. Affiliated with the University of Western Ontario, the university is a public liberal college which is officially Catholic Institute but accepts students of all faiths, religion and background, making it a very safe place to study in Canada.

  • Applicants for UG programs can apply through Ontario Application Services.
  • US applicants are required to submit SAT scores for UG admissions.
  • Applicants applying on the basis of extracurricular activities are required to fill an additional application form.
  • There are no specific GPA requirements for international applicants except for applicants from the US.

Graduate Admissions

Brescia University College offers Graduate programs in two fields: MSc. in Food and Nutrition and MEng in Food Processing.

  • BSc. in Food and Nutrition or a related equivalent 4-year degree is required to be eligible to enroll in MSc. in Food and Nutrition.
  • Also, undergraduate courses in Research Methodology and Statistics.
  • MEng in Food Processing is offered by Brescia University College in collaboration with the Western University.
  • 4-year (Hons) degree in Engineering or Food Science or a related field is needed to be eligible to apply for MEng. in Food Processing
