Brock University Application Deadlines

Brock runs three intakes for international students: Fall (September), Winter (January), and Spring (May).

Brock University Eligibility for Indian Students

Brock’s academic thresholds are set by level, with English-proficiency floors layered on top. Indian applicants are read against Canadian-equivalent benchmarks: Class XII for undergraduate entry and a four-year bachelor’s for master’s entry. • UG general entry: Class XII at 50% or higher (mid-B), with any prerequisite subjects required by the chosen program.
• PG general entry: Four-year bachelor’s degree at 75% (mid-B) over the last two years of full-time study.
• UG English floor: IELTS 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 4.0, PTE Academic 58, Duolingo accepted.
• PG English floor: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 4.0, PTE 60, Duolingo 110.

Brock’s undergraduate menu is strongest in business (Goodman), health sciences, and applied research. Every undergraduate program uses the institution-wide IELTS 6.5 floor unless the program page states higher. 

Brock University Application Process

Undergraduate international applications route through OUAC 105 — the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre stream for non-Ontario high-school applicants. Graduate applications go directly on Brock’s graduate portal. Both routes are online end-to-end.

1. Choose your route. Undergraduate: open an OUAC 105 profile at ouac.on.ca. Graduate: register on the Brock Grad Portal linked from the program page.
2. Pay the application fee: CAD 130 for Brock's undergraduate application; graduate fees range from CAD 120 to CAD 140, depending on the programme.
3. Upload transcripts and test scores. Self-report initial transcripts on the portal; official copies follow via courier or e-transcript service.
4. Submit program-specific materials. SOP, references, CV, and any writing samples or portfolios required by the department.
5. Track your application. Log in weekly to the portal; Brock issues document requests through the same dashboard.
6. Accept the offer and pay the deposit. Follow the offer letter’s deadline for tuition deposit; deposit amount and refund rules sit on the offer letter itself.

Brock University Admission Decisions and Offers

Brock’s Graduate Studies office typically reviews complete master’s applications within 2 to 3 weeks of the file becoming complete. Undergraduate review through OUAC 105 runs longer, with early offers issued from January onwards for Fall intakes. Offers arrive on the applicant’s Brock portal as either unconditional or conditional (pending final Class XII marks, official transcripts, or an English-test resit).

• Offer response window: typically 3 to 4 weeks from the offer date; check the offer letter for the exact reply-by date.
• Tuition deposit: required to secure the seat, applied against first-term fees.
• Deferrals: Brock permits one-term or one-year deferral requests case-by-case; approval is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
• Waitlist status: possible for competitive programs like the BSc Nursing and Goodman MBA if the cohort fills before your file is reviewed.

Brock University Documents Required

Every applicant file at Brock is built from the same core paperwork, with program-specific add-ons layered on top. Prepare these before you start the portal to avoid a mid-application scramble.

• Passport bio page — valid for at least 6 months past your intake start.
• Certified academic transcripts — Class X, Class XII, and bachelor’s mark sheets and degree certificate.
• Statement of Purpose (SOP) or Statement of Intent — usually 500 to 750 words.
• Two Letters of Recommendation (LORs) — one academic and one professional or health-sector for MPH.

Brock University Acceptance Rate for Indian Students

Brock’s institutional acceptance rate is estimated at around 70%, based on published third-party estimates, as the university does not release an official institutional figure. This places Brock among the more accessible research universities in Ontario, though program-level selectivity varies sharply. The 70% headline reads as an overall benchmark, not a program guarantee.

BSc Computer Science has been cited at around 10% for competitive intakes in prior cycles, and BSc Nursing runs tighter than 70% because of clinical-placement caps.
