Brock University Application Deadlines
Brock runs three intakes for international students: Fall (September), Winter (January), and Spring (May). Fall is the primary intake, with the widest program menu open for Indian applicants. Undergraduate international applicants apply through OUAC 105 (the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre route for non-Ontario high-school applicants), while graduate applicants apply directly on Brock’s graduate portal. Dates below are per the Brock international admissions page and the Brock graduate application page.
Brock’s primary intake for Indian students is Fall (September) — most graduate and undergraduate programs open here.
| Intake | Level | Deadline | App Fee | Portal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fall 2027 (Sept) — Primary intake | Undergraduate | Early March 2027 | CAD 156 (INR 10,828) | OUAC 105 |
| Fall 2027 (Sept) — Primary intake | PG (Goodman MBA) | 1 March 2027 | CAD 130 (INR 9,024) | Brock Grad Portal |
| Fall 2027 (Sept) — Primary intake | PG (MPH, MAcc) | 1 February 2027 | CAD 130 (INR 9,024) | Brock Grad Portal |
| Fall 2027 (Sept) | PG (other research masters) | Rolling (varies by program) | CAD 130 (INR 9,024) | Brock Grad Portal |
| Winter 2027 (Jan) | PG (Goodman MBA) | 1 August 2026 (Closed) | CAD 130 (INR 9,024) | Brock Grad Portal |
| Winter 2027 (Jan) | PG (rolling programs) | Contact Graduate Programs Office | CAD 130 (INR 9,024) | Brock Grad Portal |
For Winter 2027 MBA, the fixed 1 August 2026 deadline has passed. Applicants who still wish to be considered for a January 2027 start must contact the Goodman Graduate Programs Office before applying. Fall 2027 remains the default target for widest access.
Planning note: Book your IELTS or TOEFL sitting 12 to 14 weeks before the target deadline. Score reports take 13 days for IELTS and up to 8 days for TOEFL to reach the university, and a resit needs at least 3 weeks of buffer.
Brock University Eligibility for Indian Students
Brock’s academic thresholds are set by level, with English-proficiency floors layered on top. Indian applicants are read against Canadian-equivalent benchmarks: Class XII for undergraduate entry and a four-year bachelor’s for master’s entry. The English score list covers IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Duolingo English Test, and CAEL, drawn from the Brock English proficiency page.
- UG general entry: Class XII at 75% or higher (mid-B), with any prerequisite subjects required by the chosen program.
- PG general entry: Four-year bachelor’s degree at 75% (mid-B) over the last two years of full-time study.
- UG English floor: IELTS 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88 (min 21 Speaking and Writing), PTE Academic 58, Duolingo accepted.
- PG English floor: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 60, Duolingo 110.
- Goodman MBA English floor: IELTS 7.5, TOEFL iBT 105, PTE 72.
- Teacher Education English floor: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100 (27 Writing, 27 Speaking), PTE 68.
Brock University IELTS Waiver for Indian Students
Indian applicants may request a full English-test exemption if they have completed at least three years of full-time study where the primary language of instruction and evaluation was English, with acceptable grades in English. The three years cannot include any ESL coursework. This most often applies to graduates of Indian English-medium schools (CBSE, ICSE, IB) and to Indian bachelor’s holders where English was the medium of instruction on the transcript. Brock also accepts IELTS One Skill Retake for undergraduate admissions. Applicants who miss the English floor by a small margin can enter the Intensive English Language Program (IELP) and progress into their degree upon completion.
Brock University PG Programs
Brock’s master’s menu spans the Goodman School of Business, Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, and Faculty of Mathematics and Science. Base tuition for most international master’s programs sits in the CAD 22,000 to 39,000 band per year (roughly INR 15.27 Lakhs to INR 27.07 Lakhs) — see the course-wise fee breakdown for exact figures by program. The English-requirement column below reflects each program’s own minimum from its official page.
| Programme | Duration | Minimum Eligibility | English Req. Min. |
|---|---|---|---|
| MBA (Goodman) | 16 to 20 months | 4-year bachelor’s, B or 75% in last 2 years, GMAT 52nd percentile V+Q or GRE 60th percentile | IELTS 7.5 |
| Master of Public Health (MPH) | 2 years (online) | 4-year bachelor’s at 75%+ in last 2 years, 2 references (1 academic + 1 health professional) | IELTS 6.5 |

Insider note: The MPH runs entirely online and is not eligible for a Canadian study permit or the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Treat it as an academic credential you can earn from India, not as a Canada work-pathway program.
Note: Program-specific entry requirements, fees, and intake availability may differ from the institution-wide minimums shown above. Always confirm on the official Brock University page for your chosen program before applying.
Brock University UG Programs and English Scores
Brock’s undergraduate menu is strongest in business (Goodman), health sciences, and applied research. Base tuition for international undergraduates runs CAD 30,000 to 40,000 per year (roughly INR 20.82 Lakhs to INR 27.76 Lakhs) depending on program. Every undergraduate program uses the institution-wide IELTS 6.5 floor unless the program page states higher. Programs route through OUAC 105 with the same CAD 156 (INR 10,828) base fee for three choices.
| Programme | Duration | Minimum Eligibility | English Req. Min. |

| BSc Nursing (BSN) | 4 years | Class XII at 75%+ with Biology, Chemistry, and English | IELTS 6.5 |

| BSc Medical Sciences | 4 years | Class XII at 75%+ with Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics | IELTS 6.5 |
Brock University Goodman MBA Admissions
The Goodman MBA is Brock’s most sought-after graduate credential for Indian applicants, taught full-time over 16 to 20 months with an optional co-op stream. Admissions review runs on two fixed intakes, and the school reads Indian bachelor’s transcripts against a Canadian four-year bachelor’s benchmark.
Goodman MBA Rounds and Deadlines at Brock University
| Intake | Deadline for Indian Applicants | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Fall 2027 (September) | 1 March 2027 | Primary intake, full cohort |
| Winter 2027 (January) | 1 August 2026 (Closed) | Contact Graduate Programs Office for late review |
| Winter 2028 (January) | 1 August 2027 | Next Winter cycle opens after Fall closes |
Goodman MBA Test Scores and Work Experience at Brock University
The Goodman MBA requires a competitive test score: GMAT at the 52nd percentile or above in both Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning, or GRE at the 60th percentile in both. Work experience is preferred but not required, which distinguishes Goodman from many Canadian peers. Indian bachelor’s holders with a 3-year degree may still be reviewed, but the four-year bachelor’s benchmark is the default. The school interviews shortlisted candidates by video after transcript and test-score review; the interview probes career fit and quantitative readiness rather than pure case work.
Note: Program-specific entry requirements, fees, and intake availability may differ from the institution-wide minimums shown above. Always confirm on the official Brock Goodman MBA page before applying.
Brock University Application Process
Undergraduate international applications route through OUAC 105 — the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre stream for non-Ontario high-school applicants. Graduate applications go directly on Brock’s graduate portal. Both routes are online end-to-end.
- Choose your route. Undergraduate: open an OUAC 105 profile at ouac.on.ca. Graduate: register on the Brock Grad Portal linked from the program page.
- Pay the application fee of CAD 130 (around INR 9,024) on the Brock Grad Portal for graduate programs, or CAD 156 (INR 10,828) base OUAC 105 fee for three undergraduate choices (each extra choice CAD 50, roughly INR 3,471).
- Upload transcripts and test scores. Self-report initial transcripts on the portal; official copies follow through courier or e-transcript service.
- Submit program-specific materials. SOP, references, CV, and any writing samples or portfolios required by the department.
- Track your application. Log in weekly to the portal; Brock issues document requests through the same dashboard.
- Accept the offer and pay the deposit. Follow the offer letter’s deadline for tuition deposit; deposit amount and refund rules sit on the offer letter itself.
Brock University Admission Decisions and Offers
Brock’s Graduate Studies office typically reviews complete master’s applications within 2 to 3 weeks of the file becoming complete. Undergraduate review through OUAC 105 runs longer, with early offers issued from January onwards for Fall intakes. Offers arrive on the applicant’s Brock portal as either unconditional or conditional (pending final Class XII marks, official transcripts, or an English-test resit).
- Offer response window: typically 3 to 4 weeks from the offer date; check the offer letter for the exact reply-by date.
- Tuition deposit: required to secure the seat, applied against first-term fees.
- Deferrals: Brock permits one-term or one-year deferral requests case-by-case; approval is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
- Waitlist status: possible for competitive programs like the BSc Nursing and Goodman MBA if the cohort fills before your file is reviewed.
Brock University Documents Required
Every applicant file at Brock is built from the same core paperwork, with program-specific add-ons layered on top. Prepare these before you start the portal to avoid a mid-application scramble.
- Passport bio page — valid for at least 6 months past your intake start.
- Certified academic transcripts — Class X, Class XII, and bachelor’s mark sheets and degree certificate.
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) or Statement of Intent — usually 500 to 750 words.
- Two Letters of Recommendation (LORs) — one academic and one professional or health-sector for MPH.
- Updated CV / resume covering academics, work, and volunteer experience.
- English test score report — IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, Duolingo, or CAEL, sent directly to Brock.
- GMAT or GRE score report — Goodman MBA and MSc Management only.
- Writing sample — required for a few humanities and applied-linguistics master’s programs.
- Financial documentation — bank statement or GIC proof, required at the study-permit stage after admission.
- Passport-sized photographs — for visa filing, not for the admission portal itself.
Brock University Acceptance Rate for Indian Students
Brock’s institutional acceptance rate is estimated at around 70%, based on published third-party estimates as the university does not release an official institutional figure. This places Brock among the more accessible research universities in Ontario, though program-level selectivity varies sharply. The 70% headline reads as an overall benchmark, not a program guarantee.
Program-Level Selectivity at Brock University
Selective programs pull the effective rate well below the headline. BSc Computer Science has been cited at around 10% for competitive intakes in prior cycles, and BSc Nursing runs tighter than 70% because of clinical-placement caps. The Goodman MBA is selective on GMAT/GRE percentile and quality of work experience rather than on a hard applicant cap. See the ranking band for Brock’s global and Canadian positioning context.
What This Means for Brock University Indian Applicants
Indian applicants who clear Class XII at 80%+ (for undergraduate) or bachelor’s at 75%+ (for master’s), with IELTS 6.5 or higher, sit well within the admissible profile for most non-clinical programs. For BSc Nursing, BSc Computer Science, and the Goodman MBA, target the upper end of the range on every metric: academics, English score, and (for MBA) GMAT or GRE.
Canada Student Visa for Brock University Applicants
Indian applicants admitted to a Brock in-person program apply for a Canadian Study Permit at the nearest VFS Global centre after receiving the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and a valid Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from Ontario. Brock issues the PAL alongside the LoA for eligible programs. Applicants also need proof of a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of CAD 20,635 (around INR 14.32 Lakhs) as first-year living-cost proof, plus first-year tuition paid or blocked, medical exam clearance from an IRCC-approved panel physician, and biometrics.
Processing time through the Student Direct Stream (SDS) runs around 4 to 8 weeks from biometrics for Indian applicants. On arrival, register your address with the college international office and enrol in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) if not already bundled with tuition. The MPH is online-only and does not qualify for a study permit — that credential is delivered from India end-to-end.
2026 update: Ontario’s PAL cap continues into 2026-27. Brock has been allocated PAL slots for its degree programs, but applicants should apply as early as possible after receiving the LoA to avoid running into PAL exhaustion at the province level.
Tips and Application Checklist for Brock University
The following tips and steps are drawn from Indian-applicant patterns at Brock across recent Fall cycles. They combine hard-earned sequencing advice with the specific triggers that avoid rework.
- Start 10 to 12 months before intake. For Fall 2027, that means October to November 2026. This is Brock’s actual review lead time plus visa buffer.
- Attempt IELTS or TOEFL by November 2026. Leaves room for one resit before graduate deadlines in February and March 2027.
- Book GMAT or GRE by December 2026 if targeting the Goodman MBA or MSc Management. Slot availability in metros tightens close to March.
- Draft your SOP against the program page, not a generic template — Brock reviewers cross-check fit against the program’s stated focus areas.
- Chase your bachelor’s college transcript office in December 2026 for official copies. Indian university transcript turnaround is the single most common cause of missed deadlines.
- Request academic and professional referees by early January 2027 — give at least 4 weeks and share your CV and program page with them.
- Apply for the OUAC 105 undergraduate profile as soon as the 2026-27 cycle opens (typically October each year); OUAC lets you save and edit before submission.
- Line up your GIC and bank statement by April 2027 so the study-permit file is ready the day the offer letter and PAL land.
- Consider the IELP pathway if your English score is 0.5 band below the floor — it converts directly into your degree program without a fresh application.
Brock University admissions reward early, well-sequenced applications more than late-stage heroics. Indian applicants who anchor to the Fall 2027 primary intake, target IELTS 6.5 (or 7.5 for the Goodman MBA), and start paperwork by October 2026 typically land offers by March 2027 with time to file the study-permit application through SDS.

Overview
The reason I chose northeastern university is because of the curriculum they are providing. They provide us with laboratory experience and pre Co op experience so that is beneficial for future job requirements.
Scholarship
No I did not receive any scholarship for northeastern university and back in india the college was not providing any scholarships for local students.
Overview
Brock University really stood out for me when it first set foot in my high school for conducting a seminar for it's various programs and that their business as well as accounting programs had placed alumni at the best firms around the country itself and brock was my first choice incase my plans of studying in the US fell apart. I like the program's diversification and how well planned it is along with it's practical technique of educating current students.
Scholarship
I got the Brock Scholars Award for 1500 CAD/ Year. Renewability was subject to marks from following semesters.
Overview
To do MBA was my dream from a long time. I was looking for options in USA and Canada. Since I applied for Jan intake there aren't many options available in Canada as major intake will be fall and Canada has limited universities unlike US.I applied for Brock because it has good co-op program and option to complete general MBA. At that point of time I didn't want to choose any specialization and Brock has this option of completing general MBA.I got admits in US universities though but my main reason to choose Brock was because of its location in Canada. As MBA does not come under STEM in US the opt will be one year so I choose Canada to avoid any immigration issues in US.
Scholarship
I received Dean of graduate studies entrance scholarship of 1000$.It was given based on my percentage in undergrad degree. I applied for other scholarships as well but didn't receive any. I wrote any essay stating why I would be needing a scholarship.
Overview
It is in an amazing location with great professors. I also knew people who went here that I really respected and heard that it was the best school for my program. I fit in well when I came to visit this school and liked the overall atmosphere and environment. It is a fun and educational school that I really enjoy attending.
Overview
Nice location and a good program. Also fairly close to my home and I love the city it is located in. It is all around the amazing school. It's also a really nice size and suitable for me. The people here are terrific.
Overview
Good co-op program. I was offered some incentive to attend money wise but the main reason I went to Brock is that I have family in the area and I was able to move in with them to save a lot of money in living expenses.
Overview
Had a great program and scholarship! Child and youth studies is exactly what I would like to go for and it was offered as a 3-year degree which is fantastic. The size of Brock is also perfect for me and it just felt like the right place.
Scholarship
The scholarship was offered at acceptance. This made it really nice and easy for me and I automatically received the money in my Brock account.
Overview
Brock was the closest to home but also was the best looking campus that I had seen and that instantly drew me in. I had done a few program tours and knew that I would have the best time at Brock. I also have friends from high school who are upper years in the same program, as well as my high school track coach who is an alumnus for the same program.
Scholarship
I had received an entry award and a bursary. For Brock, we have 'OneApp' which goes through different categories asking different questions and matches you to applicable scholarships, awards, and bursaries. This is available to all students and we are to update our application every August.
Overview
There are many reasons. Job satisfaction and study are main reason.
Scholarship
No and I guess no one received scholarship in this scholarship.
