My College trains critical and creative thinkers to address today's tough questions. During my studies, I was encouraged to spot unfounded assumptions and build more logical arguments. This is the art of critical thinking. In order to build better arguments, it is important to think outside the box. My GPA was around 8 and I had applied through an online application form. My application fees were around $120.

    Course Curriculum :

My program was designed to progressively acquaint us with the fundamental problems that are debated within Western philosophical thought, to introduce us to the concepts and techniques proper to philosophical thinking, and to develop skills necessary for rigorous, critical and independent thought. Particular attention is given to developing advanced knowledge of major philosophical movements, issues and philosophical systems of the ancient world, Middle Ages, early modern period and modern period, as well as current philosophical movements and main issues in metaphysics and in the theory of knowledge.

Since I am a humanities student, looking for a research-based course, this college fitted the bill perfectly. There are travel grants available for students to attend international as well as in-state events and conferences. I had to complete the application online and then sign and send the offer of admission to the registrar's office. My application fees were $38.

    Course Curriculum :

My curriculum incorporates a lot of research work which is why I took up the course in the first place. Areas like ethics, dialectics, epistemology, phenomenology, philosophy of economics, and law are covered precisely in class and with great detail. We as students also get to present our work at the annual DUC student conference.
