Admission deadlines and the document submission dates for undergraduate as well as transfer students are strictly followed. Applicants are suggested to ensure that applications are sent in by the deadlines mentioned below as no extension to these dates is allowed by the school.

English Language Proficiency

English proficiency test score is a must but the school may consider other test scores similar to the level required for TOEFL on an individual basis in order to grant admission to the applicant who fails to provide proof of the following.

Conditional Admissions

  • University Admission Preparation Program where the applicant must score 80% and above.
  • University Admission Preparation where an applicant would prepare for Advanced English and Canadian Studies Program where score must be 80% and above in English, 60% and above in Canadian studies.
  • ELC Preliminary Admissions are also offered where up to 24 months are given to the applicant to fulfill English language proficiency requirements. Applicants can then begin the degree without reapplying. The applicants can register with the English language center of the university.

Visa Requirements for International Applicants

Applicants must submit a visa application to Canada Immigration & Citizenship. There are certain requirements that must be fulfilled by the applicant in order to apply for a study visa.

  • An acceptance letter from an educational institute in Canada is required.
  • Identity proof of the applicant along with photographs and birth certificate is required.
  • An applicant must provide financial support proof. Guaranteed Investment Certificate must be provided which demands a deposit of 10,000 CAD.
  • A letter of explanation, stating reasons to apply for a study permit must be provided by an applicant.
  • After applying for a study permit a temporary visa application must be submitted. The applicants are required to submit the Valid passport, Specified application fee, Offer of admission, Evidence of sufficient funds, and Medical exam.

Applicants must note that this process can take up to three months.

Note: GMAT waiver is also granted to the MBA aspirants if they have an experience of more than 12 years in the area of study.

The University will launch a Master’s in Management by 2021. Interested applicants can visit the graduate school site for admission regarding details.

The business school assesses the students 60% on the basis of the application while 40% is assessed on the basis of the supplement application. This supports the applicant with a weak academic background. Preference is not given to the early applicants, however, applicants are suggested to apply by January.
