The Coast Mountain College was previously known as Northwest Community College (NWCC) and is also an accredited post-secondary institution that serves the diverse and rich communities. It was established in the year 1975 in Terrace.
The college has expanded to six regional campuses that serve 34 communities. It provides students with programs that lead to sustainable careers for people in the north.

There is no set deadline to apply for the courses. However, students can start with the application process 12 months prior to the program start date.
The admission requirements are specific and different to individual programs and these requirements must be met before you get admitted.

Academic Requirements: Official transcripts from high school or post-secondary and official copies of the citizenship information to CMTN, if the applicant has received permanent residents status.
International applicants are required to submit English proficiency test scores if they don’t have English as the primary language.

Depending on your country of origin, student visa processing can take as little as a few weeks or as long as many months. The applicant can go to Canada through visa or Electronic Travel Authorization.
