The Coast Mountain College was previously known as Northwest Community College (NWCC) and is also an accredited post-secondary institution that serves the diverse and rich communities. It was established in the year 1975 in Terrace.

The college has expanded to six regional campuses that serve 34 communities. It provides students with programs that lead to sustainable careers for people in the north.

  • For the international applicant, it is necessary to submit English Language proficiency
  • It is recommended to submit unofficial copies by email to get the application process started.
  • After receiving the application for admission, the college emails an acknowledgment letter.
  • Keep checking myCTMN to see if he/she has been accepted into the program of application.
  • If accepted, the candidate has to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit that will act as a commitment fee.
  • After receiving the acceptance letter the applicant needs to complete the study permit application with the government of Canada.
  • The intake seasons for the majority of the programs are January & September.

Visa Process for International Students

Coast Mountain College Graduate Admissions

Students interested to apply for graduate courses at the Coast Mountain College need to follow this basic application process:

  • Login to myCMTN and select Apply to Graduate.
  • Complete filling the online form and pay an application fee of 100 CAD.
  • The students have to submit the official transcripts of the previous college or university attended.
