    Nearly all courses in the Fall and Winter 2020-21 terms are taught via Distributed Learning (online).

    • Coast Mountain College is now accepting international students to study in the country. However, classes will be conducted via Distributed Learning for the Winter 2021 semester with no in person classes.
    • International students must do a 14-day quarantine as soon as they enter Canada.

    Associates Degree Admissions at Coast Mountain College

    Coast Mountain College offers two-year university-transferable associate degrees in Arts and Science. Associate degrees are valuable employment and education credentials and are equivalent to the first two years of a four-year bachelor degree that, in most cases, transfer directly into the third year of degree programs at British Columbia universities.

    The college offers associate degrees to its domestic and international students in six different programs ranging from Associate degree in Arts- General studies to Criminology specialization to Sustainable Community specialization and many more. The requirements for admission to all these programs are the same, the duration of the program may differ.

    Certificates and Diploma Admissions at Coast Mountain College

    The college offers Certificates and Diploma degrees to its domestic and international students in two different programs namely Criminology Diploma and Community,Crime and Social Justice.

    The length of the programs is different as well. The length of the Community,Crime and Social Justice program is 1year. While the length of the Criminology Diploma program is 2 years.

    The intake session for both these programs is September and January.

    Requirements for Associate, Certificate and Diploma degrees

    The admission requirements for associate, certificate and diploma degree programs are the same. The requirements are mentioned below

    English Language Requirements

    Applicants who have been awarded an associate degree or two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution where English is the medium of instruction will be deemed to have met the language requirements for most CMTN programs.

    All other applicants must demonstrate all four components of language: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

    International students are required to provide proof of English language proficiency through one of the standardized exams to study in Canada as mentioned in the table below.
