Red Deer College of Canada, in the emerging city of Red Deer, has 7 schools with more than 100 credit programs. The offered programs include Applied degrees, Collaborative degrees, Certificates, Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Career development certificates, Graduate certificates, and University transfer programs. Around 7,500 were studying at the college in 2017-18 term with up to 40 students in each class.

International students are advised to complete their application 4 to 6 months in advance of the commencement of the studies. The general deadline for application and documents submission are listed below:

International students must provide some additional documents at the time of application. All the international applicants must obtain a Canadian study permit in order to enroll in the College.
Note: Translation of the required documents should be done through the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta.
International applicants whose native language is not English must prove their English Language Proficiency (ELP). Those who completed Secondary or Post Secondary studies in English with minimum requirements suggested by the College will be exempted from producing the Standardized test certificates. TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, PTE and CAEL test scores are accepted and their minimum score requirements are listed below;

Note: Applicants to programs like Academic Upgrading and Transitional Vocational do not have to demonstrate their proficiency in English.
After receiving the acceptance letter from the college applicants need to apply for a valid visa in order to study in Canada. In order to study at Red Deer, the applicants will require a study permit. To enter Canada students even require a Temporary Residence Visa.
