Ans. AIIMS Raipur Admission for the MBBS program is based on merit in NEET UG followed by counselling. On selection, candidates must appear for a general medical fitness test conducted by the institute. The medical fitness test is conducted for all medical aspirants to ensure that they do not have any underlying medical conditions that might be an issue during training or affect patients in any way. In case, students have any serious medical conditions such as progressive immunodeficiency or Autoimmune Disorders that might affect both medical candidates and patients, AIIMS will create a medical board consisting of senior faculties who are well-experienced from various departments. The case will be discussed from all perspectives and a fair decision will be made. Candidates are advised not to be anxious or lose hope. Ans. MBBS from any AIIMS is equally good and anyone who claims otherwise has false information or hasn’t been exposed to the facilities of these peripheral AIIMS. As for the high-tech medical instruments, UG MBBS does not require such equipment and the course is conducted mostly through clinical exposure and not research work. For this, we need enough cadavers, well-furnished labs, OTS, and well-maintained lecture theaters. Every AIIMS provides these top-notch facilities and has excellent infrastructure that promotes a healthy academic environment. The quality of the infrastructure is further proved by the pic below What you see here is a modular OT and a high-tech faculty that is present only in institutes of national importance because of funding from the government. AIIMS faculty recruitment is unique and thus it’s not easy to take in just anyone as a teacher here. Moreover, the faculty shortage does not affect the quality of education. The results of all these AIIMS and the successful doctors they have produce are a testament to their worth and credibility that is almost the same as AIIMS Delhi.Read more

Ans. The infrastructure appears to be adequate for a college that was founded only a few years ago. There are structured OPDs as well as special OPDs. The hypertension and diabetic clinic, pain clinic, and rheumatology clinic are all available. The standard USGS, CTs, MRIs, and echo are all fully operational. Cardiology and Nephrology departments have been established. Renal biopsy procedures are also carried out. To function fully, it will take time, but AIIMS Raipur is a thousand times better than AIIMS Bhubaneshwar. The AIIMS campus in Bhubaneshwar is filthy. There is no sense of organization or management. The MICU there is crammed with 30 patients, with no standards or protocols in place.Read more

GSMC has a bond, so you must work for a year after graduation, whereas AIIMS does not have a bond. As one of the most prominent leading institutes in Maharashtra, GSMC has excellent technical infrastructure. It has a higher patient flow, which is very important. It also has more advanced clinical departments. The faculty is an incredible and enthusiastic supporter. It is affiliated with other BMC colleges, giving you more opportunities, and it is also affiliated with prestigious institutions such as Tata Memorial and Wadia Hospital. AIIMS Raipur is a good choice because of the AIIMS brand, infrastructure, and smaller batch size, but GSMC is still suggested.Read more
