- Academics and the faculty here are amazing , better air conditioned class rokms
- Hostel is very good and is enjoyable and very sports and other activities are seen variety of programs and hostel bed or rooms are good and proper cleaning occurs and proper mess food and proper bathroom facilities
- I liked the teaching faculty, the friends and most importantly some special places like maannanam where we get snacks and can watch sunsets

- Hostel was affordable.. but now new fees have rising.. it is still affordable but quality of life is poor.
- Mbbs is more difficult than the entrance,the only relaxation during the exam time is lack of competition.
- I have neet rank 4008,i applied through nmc counseling process and i got admission in thus college through keam.no reservations availed to me.this course is difficult to study and suffocating,but annoying too

I was reallly into medicine and stuff during my schooldays rather than other topics I also love to interact with many people and therefore mbbs started as a dream for me the new cbme curriculum very well prepare us for the outside world

- Faculty in government medical college kottayam is brilliant
- Campus is also satisfiable and we are having a park
- Infrastructure is well planned and oriented

- Environment is not upto the mark as it contains less trees
- Toilets are not maintained and not upto the mark
- Transportations facilities are not satisfiable
Placement Experience:
Placements are widely available as it is a government college. My future plans is to complete mbbs and to go into army through the SSB board and do my pg there. And after 15 years of the service, come back and start and a hospital

- Great amount of exposure to different medical cases
- Close proximity to different stores which provide equipment essential for a medical student

- It could have been better if the faculty was more approachable
- University exams are sometimes not appropriate in time
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course has been modified to competency based medical education since 2019.This enables us to understand the concept on practical as well as theoritical aspects. Rather than answering questions it is based more on skill development

- Clean and tidy environment.Even inside the hospital is clean
- It's located in a place where almost all things are affordable

- Hostel the college provide is not good and clean
- They doesn't provide more holidays and only holiday provided by government is given.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen this course to become a doctor who could treat people with most care and for free of cost for people who couldn't afford.
This course helps us to become a normal doctor.And to become a professional one we have to do post graduate.
The exams are comparably tougher than the entrance examination.

- I like the teaching faculties hospital and campus all are good . Infrastructure is very good and all the facilities are provided here itself
- New buildingd are coming which are the super speciality blocks seems that the college is improving

- Place sometimes as it is roadside feels less homely to sleep and always vehicles passes

Curriculum is mainly focusing on the students education and knowledge
What influenced me is I can interact with patients and heal them
Curriculum helps us to get clinical skills and thus is good for academic pursuits
Teaching area to be improved is theory classes
Exams occur only 6 monthly and difficulty level is average

MBBS course is having an interesting curriculum compared to other courses.
It is mostly based on practical knowledgeCurriculum includes theory classes,clinical postings,AETCOM,Feild visits.
The curriculum is such that some may feel it as slightlu hectic.
university exams are conducted annually.
there will be totally 4 university exams.
internal assessments are conducted in addition to it. frequently

- Accessible , can attend patients even in late hours

- Complicated infrastructure , less campus space
- Trees are being continuously cut down, no air conditioning.
Course Curriculum Overview:
CBME curriculum followed by KUHS is an innovative one. Exposure to the various fields of the course is given More hours for practicals can be added.
Number of log books for entering the daily activities should be reduced, it's just financial consuming,otherwise there is no use of that.
Number of subjects in the final year is more than an average student could manage,it could be distributed in the early years.
Old exam pattern was better than the new one.

- Food is also the main issue for outside students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is quite hard now compared to the previous I mean before 2019.
Marking has been increased and passing criteria is also 50%.
Teaching is also through self-studies and it needs to be improved exam is 3 hours.

- Campus beautification is less. So that we are not able to enjoy to fullest
- Academic pressure during examinations are so stressful
- We are not able to take leave even if are not at all well
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our curriculum is competency based. We used to follow AETCOM. The reason I chose this course is because of my passion. We have to attend our clinical postings from 2nd year onwards. After each posting you have to pass end posting exam.. For improving yourself, attend each exam and posting genuinely.
