Patna Medical College and Hospital is located in Patna, Bihar, near the bank of river. The campus is spread over approximately 57 acres. Which is around 8 km from Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport and just 2 km from Patna Junction Railway Station.
PMCH Patna offers various facilities including lecture halls, laboratories, library, research infrastructure, and one of the largest government teaching hospitals in Bihar. The campus also provides separate hostel accommodations for male and female students.
As per the students' review, PMCH is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in Bihar. Patient inflow is very high providing medical students with extensive clinical exposure and hands-on experience. The faculty at PMCH is highly experienced, with professors known for their humility and polite demeanor, creating a supportive learning environment for students.
However, the campus does have some drawbacks. It lacks proper sports facilities such as badminton and volleyball courts. During the rainy season, the roads and internal pathways often become muddy and difficult to navigate.
