The college provides campus placement which is a main attraction at this time, usually, it starts from the fifth semester and a good number of our alumni are working in the big 4s through this placement.
There are various scholarships and financial aid to support those in need.
Faculty of the department of social work is amazing. they're all very experienced and amazing mentors.

Dislikes

Rules are very strict, but that is Rajagiri culture. Rajagiri has its own way of functioning, which might not be acceptable to everyone.
the activity base of the college is rather low
College is very much strict.You will have dress code

About my college

Likes

The teachers are very kind...well educated
The atmosphere in the campus is great...
The canteen menus are all fine and are according to our need

Dislikes

Some of the teachers are not that good..
The building is to old for us it's like it's almost going to fall or smt
The toilets are all old and not maintained

Less subjects compared to other course Im interested in IT field that's why I took mca It really prepares me for the real world application After one month prolly there will be internal and soon after that semester exam will be conducted

life is fire

Likes

very big campus lot of spots to hang out with friends
many sports and fun event are organised frequently
2 good cafeteria with lot of good snacks

Dislikes

the management is strict in the case of uniformity and academics.
cannot bunk classes as you have to write email if you are on leave .
exams are really hard and lot of hectic days

Course Curriculum Overview:

rajagiri offers acca with bcom hons so it motivated me to pursue a degree here. the curriculam prepares you for real world application as study here is not solely based on books but through interacting through various activities. exams happens frequently and consistently .

Likes

Very good infrastructure the classrooms are air conditioned
Well maintained canteens and cafeteria with good food
Ample parking space for two wheelers and four wheelers

Dislikes

The management is very strict about the uniform
The cultural programs are very pale and simple
Lack of cultral programmes compared to other institutions

Placement Experience:

The campus placement present in the college is very decent the faculty will try their maximum to push you so you can sit for the placement without any backlogs the average lpa provided are3-5 lpa for better packages you have to work on your skills

my experience in rajagiri college

Likes

the roof top cafe called skypiea is such a great chilling place
classrooms are pretty well done with air conditioned classes, benches, smart board, windows. overall good appearance
huge library consisting of 3-4 floors in the main block.

Dislikes

need an indoor auditorium just for the college with a facilities
college washrooms needs to improve a lot by it's facilities, drainage system which causes the area to stink

I guess it's from the 6th semester. there are many companies especially the big 4's like KPMG, KY, DELOITTE, all of those had made their offers and many students who passed out as well as got into those. 80-89% of the students get the placements. I haven't yet decided my plans aftergetting the degree as of now.

Likes

Good way of teaching and learning as we can understand and relate to the classes studies have become easier
Clean classrooms and campus throughout the campus of Rajagiri I saw no unwanted bits lying around its cleaned and kept neatly everyday
Teachers are very friendly and supportive. The faculty provided is the best among the best. Every facility proved by the college is top rated

Dislikes

There is no nightparties which I found a little devastating as comparing to other colleges in kochi has a hell of a night parties
Security is very strict . Students feel as if the securities are the principal of the college and school

Placement Experience:

From sem 6 students can apply for placements. The placement parties will be enquiring about the students and start giving out the information on how to crackle the interview and the support provided by the faculty is very supportive. More than 80% students gets placement. My plans after getting degree is to pursue my chartered accountancy career and maybe start a business

RCSS honest opinion on Rajagiri from a first year POV

Likes

Teachers use experiential learning to make students industry ready
Infrastructure is top notch and they try to adapt to latest technology and methods.
Fests and programs are held to help students build connections with reputed individuals and businesses

Dislikes

First years are not allowed to bring their vehicles inside the premises
Strict and sometimes ridiculous policy over dress code regarding clothes as well as shoes.

Students are eligible for campus placements from sixth semester. EY, Deloitte and KPMG are known for providing such opportunities to students of my college. Highest and average package is about 3-6 lakhs p.a. My plans after degree include receiving work experience before pursuing MBA abroad.

Students are eligible for campus placements from sixth semester. Big 4 provide several heart opportunities for students of Rajagiri. Highest and average package is not known to me as I am only doing my second semester as of now.

Sometimes management is too strict and not flexible
Use of personal motor vehicles is restricted within the campus even with a license

Placement Experience:

Campus placements takes place in 3rd and 4th years , some of the companies are Tata ,Deloitte ,KPMG ,Infosys ,other government institutions etc . The highest package is around 12 to 15 lacks per anum . After completing this course I will try to get an intership as through this I will acquire a professional degree . The quantity of students being placed are average

The vibe of the teachers here are amazing. They are really friendly and clears all your doubts
The college campus is big and is really nice.
Provides lot of chances for you to interact with others.

Dislikes

Sometimes management is too strict and not flexible.
Acca program classes are boring and not engaging.
First years cannot bring vehicles inside the campus even if they have a license

Placement Experience:

Campus placements take place in 3 rd and 4 th year. Some companies are Infosys , Tata , KPMG , EY , Deloitte . highest package is 70000 per annum average is 30000. After completing the course I will most probably have a professional degree as I am doing bcom acca so will try to get internship. Percentage of students getting placed are average.

The infrastructure is excellent with almost all facilities available that a student would need. They’ve recently installed air conditioners in every classroom along with smart screens to ensure adaption to latest tech.
Cafe Skypiea at the rooftop is a popular spot for hangouts with great snacks to munch on during breaks or free periods.
Faculty incorporates experiential learning in class rather than traditional lecture methods to train students for the corporate world

Dislikes

Proper notes or study material is at times not given, depending on the faculty, which makes it hard to know what guide or material to study from
More efficient number of staff in cafes would be appreciated during most crowded times
There is no range in the basement cafe which makes payment difficult

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from third year, to my best knowledge. The Big 4 provide great opportunities to students here. I am not aware of the packages exactly as this is my first year. Placement percentage is 27%. I plan to clear all ACCA exams within the four year program and get a placement for work experience and then pursue M.Com or clear CFA exams for further add on to my qualifications.
