- Scholarships like nsp etc are provided to students by applying to respective forms and staff is helpful.
- The helpful faculty of the college which provide the students with valuable information and inside into the academic knowledge needed to succeed in life . the understanding of the teachers towards the students.
- Placement cell is very supportive and number of companies they have manage to bring to the table is great.
Dislikes
- The teachers teach well, but due to low strictness levels and no discipline there is high irregularity of attendance and students don't attend classes properly.
- Faculty is little bit not so qualified. but they are so much arrogant.
- The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:60 in core subjects and it goes slightly lower for the electives.

- The college campus is very large and it's one of the largest campuses in the entire Delhi University.
- I also like the football and cricket ground, it's very good.
- The bamboo rooms are on og my favourite things in the college because they are unique.
Dislikes
- I don't like the attention paid to the honours courses compared to the BA(Program).
- There are some classes that don't have enough ventilation and they certainly need improvement.
- There are some teachers that have favourite students and they prefer those as compared to the other students
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course at Dyal Singh College is very good, it provides you the best environment and you have the knowledge of other subjects apart from you specific domain of interest, you can prepare for it with ease as you have to focus on the NCERTs and go through them and you'll be fine in the exams.

- Chemistry department of Dyal Singh College is best in DU
- Lab staff is good,very helpfull , supportive
- Societies are also good ,gives a wide exposure to explore

- The campus ,classes are not well maintained
- No proper facilities of ventilation in classrooms and labs

In their last semester of college, they are eligible for placements.
There are many companies like tata ,Wipro and many more.

- The best thing was its infrastructure it is the biggest campus in south campus
- Canteen facility also available there the rate is so cheap
- Many of the society were there to join and for entertainment.
Dislikes
- Some teachers were so irresponsible to their work
- Many teachers were not take classes regularly
- The food served in canteen were not hygienic

- I like the infrastructure of this college. Its the biggest college of south campus of Delhi university.
- I liked the faculty and management. Management of the college is upto the good mark
- Moreover the co curricular activities are also promoted like NCC, sports,fest, societies etc.
Dislikes
- I think there should be one stationary and photocopy shop inside college as theres no such shop near college.
- The computer lab is not so good. Computer systems are old version.
- There should be the requirement of more professors as to limit the timetable and avoid unneccesary breaks.
Placement Experience:
The college also looks after our placement and internship opportunities. Many companies arrive in the college. College organises the placement and internship fair and promote students to apply for. One society called placement cell also established to look after this

- The yearly fees was very low as compared with other colleges.
- the overall staff and teachers are helpful.
- the events conducted by the college departments were good.

- the overall hygiene of the college is not well maintained.
- the security of events and fests is not good.

- There is internship facilities as well as there placement cell is the bestest cell among all the college. Students will not face any ragging problems there and they have best campus etc
- Students are friendly in nature . You will get to see topper to average Student and all are equal .
Dislikes
- Some colleges under du comes under politics pressure.
- Some colleges under du south campus does not provide placements.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester you are eligible for the placement . But you can apply for internship through placement cell from 1st semester only . My College offer 10lakhs as average package. My plan after doing this course is to pursue MBA.

- Teachers are very supportive and every teacher helps you as much as they can even on a personal level they give you a wide perspective of things while teaching as well
- Seniors are also very supporting and they provide you exceptional advice which they have earned from their experiance and trust me it helps the juniors a lot
- Classes are very punctual, teachers have taken minimal amount of leaves and have taken classes to their full potential every day on the exact timings
Dislikes
- The cleanliness is not good as the benches are full of dusts at times students need to clean for themselves
- The college canteen is somehow not maintaining the separate food counters for vegetarian and non vegetarian food
- Amount of holidays for students are very less, the workload on students is very high
Course Curriculum Overview:
I've always loved physics it make me wonder how and why the things we are seeing are so , and the amount of practical fun we get studying physics is the best part of it for instance as soon as we get to know about a new phenomenon and its application our mind clicks new things like so that's the thing we were all missing for those times of discovery.i think 2/10 teachers are really up for the salary they are getting they don't pay much attention to the students ,along that this college is very punctual for timings classes start as early as 8 am in the morning

- The over all environment of the college. The gentry of the students that attends the college of full of determination hopes ambitions. The seniors who are helpful and guide the students and help them navigating through the college life. P
- The culture , the clubs,the fest life which makes the hustle worth it. The meeting and collaborations with new people which helps us in developing and improving our network.
- The helpful faculty of the college which provide the students with valuable information and inside into the academic knowledge needed to succeed in life . The understanding of the teachers towards the students.
Dislikes
- The instances of lack of classes uninformed by the teachers. It ruins the efforts of the students who show up to the college to study according to the timetable but are faced with this situation.
- The political culture which is yet not moderated by the college and often leads to unnecessary violence and bullying in the college premises.
- The infrastructure which is sometimes neglected by the college authorities and not properly looked after
Placement Experience:
There is an entire placement cell which conductor internship fair which is a placement drive and it takes place every conductor internship fair which is a placement drive and it takes place every year and sometimes many prestigious companies also come and employee students from the college. If not from the placement cell there are other means as well such as online platforms available such as LinkedIn internshala etc through which individuals can develop their skills and get internship opportunities.

- Mathematics department's faculty is really exceptional and equally supportive.
- Numerous societies to help you participate and learn through extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- Electricity and water infrastructure can be worked upon.
- The class size also needs to be reduced a bit.
Placement Experience:
There are very less exmployement opportunities by the college after a course like BSc Mathematics. I opted for further studies after the course and did my masters in Business analytics. I plan to work as an analyst in near future.

- The amount of social interaction in this university is amazing. You get to apply in various societies and clubs and gain experience
- The no. Of subjects is wide that is skill enhancement cources , value addition courses , ability enhancement courses along with the core subjects
- There are ample opportunities for internships and gaining professional experience
Dislikes
- I don't like the fact the college infrastructure is average
- The duration of the semester examination is way too long extending to a month and half
- Change of subjects every 6 month does not provide in depth knowledge
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placement and internship after 1 semester. That means any student can apply for these . The new startups and NGOs visit for offering placement. The highest package was of 35 lakh and average is 4 to 5 lakh per annum . 30 to 40 percent student get placement . My plan after the degree is to go for MBA from IIMs
