Dyal Singh College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Exam happened in semester wise ( nov-dec and may-june). Exam was not difficult to pass. If you study all the things that was teached in class is enough to clear the exam. And also syllabus is not much difficult.

Can't say much about this because my plans for future doesn't match with this and also i didnot attend it meetings but our college has a placement cell which is very good as it was told by others and during fest there is separate place for them.

The placements are good enough, they also provide us internship opportunities with a good amount of stipend, many reputed companies also provide job offers to Dyal Singh college students. To get placed in a company depends upon the person's skills ( computerized knowledge, communication skills ) and talent. If we talk about the percentage to get placed is almost 40-50%.

You will be eligible in 3rd year for the campus placemets. Dyal singh college achieved 3rd position by the delhi college award conducted the education tree. Every year around 250 students were placed during the recruitment process and the highest package offered in the history of the college stood at 18 LPA. More than 110 companies provide internship opportunities to 350+ students every year offering the stipend as high as 50k. Some of the regular recruiters include IIT kanpur, iim Lucknow, EY india, KPMG india, genpact and many more. My plans after getting the degree is to prepare for my exam to pursue msc. In chemistry.

I want to prepare for a government job in the future and it will be a lot to clear it because the program it prepared me to want to become my general is what the Civil Service exam requires. Classes are held on only Sundays from 9:00 to 5:00 am. The teacher is highly qualified with a higher degree. All the teachers of the department are kind and helpful. Their way of teaching is amazing and the semester exam was of moderate to the difficulty level.

If we talk about the placement in Dyal Singh College is so competitive. During the 2020 placement drive, over 150+ students are placed. In the placement drive of 2020, the highest CTC offered was INR 12 LPA but the highest CTC accepted stood at INR 10 LPA. Some of the major recruiters include KPMG Global, EY Global, Teach For India, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and many more.In the 2020 placement drive, the maximum number of students are placed in the Sales sector followed by HR Executive Sector and Education Sector.During the 2020 placement drive, the maximum amount of average package is offered by Jaro followed by American Express and White Panda.

Dyal Singh College has the best placement cell amongst all the colleges of University of Delhi. In 5th semester , students' are eligible to sit for the placement but anyone can start doing internship in the very first year of the college. Most of the MNCs visit our college like KPMG, PWC, TCS , Aditya Birla and so on. In my course, there are many job profiles like Audit Associates, Senior Analyst , Risk Analyst , Junior Accountant etc. Highest package = 15 lacs , Average package = 8 lacs , Lowest package = 5 lacs. Most of the students took placement and start their careers in the professional world and some of the students go for the further studies. I also think to continue my studies and get best IIM College and do MBA.

According to my experience uptil now, students become eligible for campus placements from fifth or sixth semester. The highest package that was offered was 21 lacs before the Covid situation. Campus placements happen for almost all higher and in demand profiles. I've not yet made any plans for after getting the degree.

Our college provides placements from good companies like KPMG. Students from the 5th semester are eligible to sit for the placements. But not a high percentage of students get placements. Average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum. After completing my degree, I will try my best to get a placement in a good company.

The reason I chose, BA English was because of my interest in literature and as I am an avid reader. A student of BA English must be prepared to tackle a lot of readings, Classic literature, and critical analysis of said literature. The Faculty of Dyal Singh is experienced and helpful. They are strict towards marks, as they expect the best from their students. Most of the members of the faculty have a doctorate, while everyone has a master's in English. Exams are scheduled twice a year, while mid-terms are taken before each semester's examination.
