AALIMEC Admission Dates 2026

AALIMEC BE and B.Tech admissions for the 2026-27 session are governed by TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), conducted by Anna University, Chennai. Seat allotment is based purely on Class 12 marks, with no separate entrance examination required. The TNEA 2026 counselling schedule proceeded as follows.

Lateral entry admissions for diploma holders are processed separately through TANCET. The TANCET 2026 exam was held on May 9, 2026, and lateral entry counselling follows the TNEA lateral schedule.

AALIMEC Courses and Fees

AALIMEC offers 10 four-year BE and B.Tech programmes across engineering and technology disciplines, plus lateral entry (three-year) variants of all branches. All regular four-year programmes carry a uniform fee regardless of branch. Government quota total fee is INR 2.20 Lakhs and management quota is INR 3.48 Lakhs for the full four-year duration.

BE and B.Tech (Regular Entry) Admission

AALIMEC does not conduct any independent entrance examination for regular BE and B.Tech admissions. All government-quota seats are allotted through TNEA centralised counselling based solely on Class 12 academic marks.

Diploma holders seeking admission to the second year of BE and B.Tech programmes at AALIMEC apply through TANCET lateral entry counselling. Eligibility requires a relevant Diploma in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 50% marks from an AICTE-approved institution.
