Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology Kalady Ernakulam offers admission to B.Tech. program on the basis of performance in the state level entrance known as KEAM, conducted by the Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Examinations.

KEAM consists of a set of two papers, each for a duration of 150 minutes.

The questions are objective type.
Each correct answer is worth four marks.
Each incorrect answer will result in deduction of one mark.
There are 120 questions in each paper.

MBA candidates require a valid CMAT or CAT score and should have appeared in the group discussion and personal interview stages.

Candidates are considered eligible for M.Tech program if they have either 60% aggregate at the undergraduate level or 55% aggregate in the AMIE / AMIETE examinations and a minimum of three years professional experience in the relevant fields.

Selection is based on merit depending on rank in DTE rank list which depends on the valid GATE score of the candidate.
The college may accept Kerala State candidates without valid GATE score, if vacancies persist. If this does not fill the remaining seats, other state candidates will be considered.

Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by the institute should follow the steps mentioned below:

A form is available for state preference with the college and apply under NRI quota at the official website.
Candidate should log on to the official website, click the ‘Admissions’ tab and choose the desired course.
Alternatively, an ‘Apply Now’ tab on the homepage will lead to the online application form.
Alongside, candidates are required to register themselves for the relevant examination / counselling process.
A notification will be released by the CEE Kerala, following which the application forms will be officially released.
Candidates must submit the duly filled-in form along with uploaded photographs and photocopies of marksheet.
Category must also be clearly specified to be considered for quota selection. This includes Sports quota, NCC quota etc.
Online payment of the application fee of INR 800 (INR 400 for reserved category students) can be done through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card. E-Challan method.
Candidates must retain a printout of this completed form to present at the time of examination with an affixed photograph.

Admission :

I just got my seat based on my 12th mark and my KEAM score. The college atmosphere is very good for studies as it is surrounded by large trees and is located just appart from the highway, so it is reliable. First we have to opt for the course you prefer, after some days or weeks based according to your marks the admission starts. It all has merit seat managent seat and NRI seat and this is how admission takes place.

Remarks :

The canteen facility can be made better. The room can be a bit tidy. Rest are good about the college

So it finally happens in the year 2016.The school life was over with lotz and lotz of sweet memories to be cherished.And what's next? As usual as all wrote the engineering entrance exam I also wrote the keam entrance and was able to secure a decent rank and by the way I got management seat in Adishankara institute of engineering and technology with keam rank scholarship.

Now coning to a conclusion its the only college I have studied and from where I have learnt many lessons so its one of the best college life I have had and my friends with pure soul I don't wanna miss them,the moments I had with them.

Admission :

There multiple ways you can got admission to this college. One is through the Entrance Exams - the state government of kerala ( India ) conducts an entrance exam ( KEAM) after which a rank list is published. Based on the rank students are given admission to various colleges in Kerala. In this college also depending on the cut off rank and depending on the vacancy for each course students are given admission.

Remarks :

There is still a lot of scope for improvement on external exposure through internships and industrial level training. The number of placements provided needs to be improved also. The Entrepreneur support and initiative are really good. Encouraging students to think out of the box and brainstorms ideas. Financial support is also provided for worth while ideas.

Admission :

I had to collect a form from the college and fill in details regarding my entrance exam rank, my 12 and 10 CGPA my desired stream etc and submit it back to the college. A week later they published a rank list based on the submission and students were interviewing in the order of their ranks and were awarded admission on a first come first serve basis. They also made it a point that the pupil had to pay the first installment of the fees during the interview process else the seat is lost

Remarks :

Overall a positive remark about the college. They had focused on bringing out the best in each student by providing an excellent faculty and facilities. There were also sessions conducted from experts from outside.
