We have very gud placement community and we get job opportunities easily...as our college is well reputed colllege...hey provide good placements....and the companies are also top class...even we encourage startups
Yes, the plavements are good. It totally depends on the talent of the student...only the student should fulfill the basic criteria of any company like min marks etc...after that all the eligible students sit in the companies test and rest depends on their talent and luck
Yes upcourse our college is one of the top college in vtu colleges and is having good placement &job opportunities and its very easy to get jobs in our college placement process they train us for placement process No they don't provide any internship and all but they refer
Placements are pretty good, more IT Companies will come and hire all branches student.but with core company don't accept more with them always less no of students will get hired. about 70-80% get placed .most average salary package will be 3 to 4lack per annum.
My college has a very good placement to all the other branches other than civil and mechanical. all other students are lucky to get in this college as it has too good placements. It's the same when comes to the internship.
Placements go for the full one year during your last year and most of the well-reputed companies come for the recruitment process. Average salary goes till 4-5 lakhs and companies with packages more than 10 lakhs also come. Yes, companies come specifically for an internship also and give good stipend money.
The placements are usually good but not the best. there r plenty of students opting for IT companies such as Accenture (3-3.5 lpa), Wipro, TCS, INFOSYS, and so on, though they r from Civil, mech, IEM, etc. CS and EC students get the most number of offers in both core and IT companies. Other branches such as EEE, ISE, TCE, IT also get a good number of offers but very less from their core companies. civil and mech branches get less offers.the package ranges between 3.5lpa - 14lpa every year. About 178 students r placed during the academic year 2018. there r companies like BOSCH, TECHLABS, INFOSYS, etc coming in for placements. but Accenture takes in a big number of students (100-150).
Yes as per the training and placement cell stats and notice boards, there are few opportunities for internships which are available through college .the stipend is usually about 10-20k per month.
For M.Tech no placements till now..2 or 3 companies came for placements or internship...if u have luck or if u r very good at academes then u can expect internship facility with the stipend or else no...but placements for BE is damn good. EC and CS people get placed in good companies with a good package but poor for civil and mechanical people.
He refers to some companies...but you cant assure or except internship...among 21 of us only one girl got the internship that's all.
Placement is mediocre. For the computer science branch, opportunities are vast. Whereas mechanical just has a mere handful of organizations coming in. Computer science students secure a package varying from 3 lakhs per annum to a high of about 12-13 lakhs. Organisations like Bosch, Toyota, l&t, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, MindTree and a lot more came in. The last few mentioned in the above line, ex Accenture Infosys and Wipro conduct mass recruitments. But as a mechanical engineer graduate, I was not personally inclined towards the software companies. The big shots just took a student or two. Also, an advice to maintain a constant percentage of 75 and above will help you sit through placement...
The college does not provide internships. The student are advised to complete about 4 internships arranging them by their own sources which helps them improve their profile for further education.
After enquiring with seniors got to that having a backlog in any of the semesters will disqualify us from taking part in the campus selections. Hardly 30% of the people get the job in the placements.
There is no internship at this College. The students must themselves look for the jobs where they take in Freshers and start working to gain experience so that they get a higher pay.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. Our team will look into it.
