Placement Experience:
Mining engineering students can get an internship from 3rd year but CS IT departments can put in efforts and can get internships early which are very helpful for Placements. Companies like Tata Steel provide internships to various branches through its Inspire Program taken by the company itself and a mining engineering student can get an internship at CSIR-CIMFR. If you put effort then taking a job is not that hard.

Placement Experience:
BIT Sindri being a very reputed institution in Jharkhand state, the placements are quite good. Hard-working & deserving students easily get jobs. The Training & Placement Cell of college assists students to develop skills & get their dream jobs.
Students become eligible for campus placements in their 4th year, in the 7th semester.
Variety of companies (both core & IT sector) like TATA STEEL, TCS, VEDANTA, ACCENTURE, SIFY TECH, VIRAJ PROFILES LTD., L&T, JSW, USHA MARTIN, INNOLABZ VENTURES, GIRIKON, INFO EDGE, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED, TSUISL, MATIX FERTILIZER, etc. have visited the campus for placements this year.
This year, a total of 50+ companies visited & no. of students offered placements were 341. The average package was 5.05 LPA & the highest package was 12.7 LPA which was offered by INFO EDGE. Overall, the placement percentage is 70-80%.

The placement of the college is quite good in every branch except few. In computer, ece, it almost all students gets placed with average package of 4lac. And me and ee have placement of 60-75%with average package of 5-6lac per annum

The placement of birsa institute of technology, Sindri is very good. In the 2020 pandemic more than 90% of students got their campus placement. The highest package is around 14 lakh per annum and the average package is around 6 lakh per annum.

The placement ratio is very good. In the 2020 batch, the ratio is around 80%. The placement ratio of the computer science branch is around 1000%. Every year many companies visit our college. The highest package is around 14 LPA and the average is 5 LPA.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
