Placement Experience:
Our college is famous for metallurgical department placement. Every year 75 out of 95 students are placed from metallurgical department. Same case is also with other branches but low placements in cs and it. Every year 71 to 80 companies visit and provides more than 600 offers to students. Some of the major companies are tcs, Tata ,cil, Wipro, byju,allen, tech mahindra, Samsung, jindal ,Honda, Bajaj ,companies visit and provides offer .I will rate 7.5 out of 10 were placed every year. From fourth year only you are applicable to get jobs and placed. Highest package of our college is
12 lakh from metallurgical and lowest package is 3.5 lakh from CS department. Average package of our college is 5 to 6 lakh. My target is clear the gate exam and opt job in psus.

I couldn't make it through the premiere Tier-1 institutes as my rank in JEE was not very high but in JCECE exam, My CML rank was good enough to get me admission at BIT SINDRI and this is the best institute under Jharkhand Government and the atmosphere of this college was also way better than all the remaining private and state govt. colleges of Jharkhand, so I preferred this college and also because I was getting my preferred branch.

Placement Experience:
From semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. More than 100 companies visits and more than 400 students get placed. Highest package is about 12 lakh per annum and the average package is about 3 lakh per annum. More than 70% gets placed.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement after the 5th semester.
Top companies such as Tata Hitachi, Tata Steel, Aditya Birla Group, and Wipro visit the campus to recruit students.
The highest package offered by companies in campus placement is Rs 12LPA, and the average package by companies in campus placement is Rs 6LPA.
About 65% of students got a placement through campus.
I'm planning to join DRDO after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:
Campus Placement is about 70%. Students of final year are eligible for placements i.e from the 6th semester. Many companies visit campus for placement. Some are TCS, Tata Steel, ONGC, Wipro, Vedanta, Schlumberger, Yamaha motors, Deloitte, etc. The package range from 3.5 LPA to 13.5 LPA. The average package is around 4.5 LPA. Many students grab good gate scores and join PSU. My plan is to get placed at a good company with a decent package.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty is very learned here. Lots of them have studied from NITs or IITs and have come here. Each class consists of nearly 40 students from one branch. Most teachers are M.Tech or Ph.D. s from renowned colleges of India. They go through every important concept and also mention real-life examples.
Exams are conducted on regular basis to test our understanding. Every 2 months we have exams. The difficulty level is fairly easy provided one studies properly.

Placements is where our college lacks in real terms. Still most of the students gets placed in last sem and some get extended PPOs before that as well. Although the placement scenario is continuously improving, we have got a long way to go.

Placement Experience:
The college conducts active placement facilities for the students. The following table gives information about the number of students placed in the past 3 years. There has been extensive training and skill development of the students. Given the number of students, the branches of engineering that are being taught, students have immense opportunities to grow their hard and soft skills and also become profitable employees for the recruiting companies. 318 students got placements in 2018-19 with the highest salary package being INR 10.01 Lakhs while the average package being INR 5.17 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for campus placement after their 3rd year. The companies that visit our score TCS,Tata, CCL, Deollite, Jindal etc. The highest package is given to a mechanical engineering student that is of 12 lakh and average package is around 6 to 8 lakh. The percentage of students getting placement is 80%. I am planning to go for the higher course after getting a degree

Meticulous students get pre-placement offers from the 5th semester itself. Total companies visiting the campus are 50+ ;like Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, TCS Ninja, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, TCS Digital, Tata Power, Jindal Steel , Accenture, FIITJEE , Byju's, ACC Cement Reliance Digital, etc, Highest package offered is around 12LPA by Tata steel. The average package offered is around 6LPA. Every year around 350+ students get placed in big and small companies through campus placement.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
