MIT Aurangabad’s longer history (since 1982), NAAC Grade A status, and niche B.Tech branches distinguish it among Marathwada-region engineering colleges. JNEC Aurangabad is a comparable aided college with similar NAAC standing and a large engineering intake. DIEMS is a newer private unaided option. Aspirants prioritising aided-college fees and programme diversity are better served by MIT Aurangabad or JNEC, while those seeking a newer campus with potentially more flexible admission should evaluate DIEMS.

With a 54th percentile in MHT-CET at MIT Aurangabad (General category), core branches like CSE, AI, E&TC, and Electrical won’t be through regular CAP rounds, as most closing percentiles are much higher. However, you might get admission in lesser-demand branches or via management/Institutional quota, depending on availability and category. Cutoffs vary each year.
