Eligibility Criteria
- Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry, Botany, Biology, or Computer Science.
- Minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks in the qualifying examination (40 per cent for reserved category candidates).
- Biotechnology applicants may qualify with a Biology or Chemistry combination in place of Computer Science.
- Tamil Nadu residents and eligible non-resident students must complete registration and certificate verification on the TNEA portal.
Admission Process
- Admission is conducted entirely through TNEA, managed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu.
- Rank is assigned based on qualifying examination marks with a random number used to break ties.
- Candidates fill college and branch preferences online and receive allotment in up to three general counselling rounds.
- Management quota seats (35 per cent) are filled by the college directly for students not allotted through TNEA.
- Lateral Entry to the second year is available for diploma holders in relevant branches meeting TNEA lateral entry norms.
