As of 2015, the Computer Department at the college had an experienced faculty, including the Principal, known for their kindness and expertise. Although half of the faculty has since moved to another college, the remaining staff are still praised for their teaching skills. The CSE department is noted for its supportive environment, helping students with academics and projects. The college adheres to Anna University's course structure, which includes two semester exams, two internal exams per semester, and several class exams. Tamil is taught in an engaging way. The annual fee for lateral entry students was Rs 1 lakh, excluding exam and lab fees, which is reasonable compared to other colleges outside city limits. The college facilitates numerous placement opportunities, especially with multinational companies, though some are mainly from consultancy firms requiring payment for training.
The Placement Officer, Mr. Raja, is committed to student placements, but the college does not directly provide placements or internships, so students must find these independently. Skill development from the first year is recommended for better off-campus placement chances. On Duty attendance is available for internships at other centers.
