Ques. What is the difference between B.Tech Lateral Entry and regular B.Tech Electrical Engineering at MIET Jammu?
Ans. The regular B.Tech Electrical Engineering is a 4-year program starting from the 1st semester, open to 10+2 (PCM) students. The Lateral Entry program is a 3-year program starting from the 3rd semester (2nd year), exclusively for diploma holders. Both programs lead to the same B.Tech degree and have the same fee structure. Lateral entry students save one year compared to the regular route.
