MIET Jammu Admission 2027 is open for B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA JMC, law, MBA, MCA and M.Tech. MIET is the Model Institute of Engineering and Technology at Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. It is an autonomous college, permanently affiliated to the University of Jammu. B.Tech seats are filled through JKCET and J&K BOPEE counselling. MIET also gives B.Tech seats on its own form for a JEE Main, CUET (UG) or MET score. For every other degree, you apply on the MIET admission portal with a CUET, CLAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT, GATE or MET score. MET is the MIET Entrance Test. MIET offers B.Tech in six branches, with 420 seats in all. Computer Science and Engineering has 180 seats. CSE with AI and ML, CSE with Cyber Security and Civil Engineering have 60 seats each. Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering have 30 seats each. The yearly fee for 2026-27 is INR 1,14,550 for every branch.
MIET Jammu B.Tech Eligibility 2027
For a JKCET seat, you need 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Class 12. If you are in a reserved group, you need 40%. You must also be a domicile of J&K or Ladakh. BBA (Hons) at the MIET School of Management has 180 seats. There are 120 seats in BBA (Hons) and 60 seats in BBA BFSI (Hons). BFSI stands for banking, financial services and insurance. Both are four year courses, and you can leave with a BBA degree after three years. The yearly fee for 2026-27 is INR 88,950.
