MIET, Jammu

Fees -

The fee structure is neither feasible nor expensive. I got in through JKCET counselling process and my fee was around 55,000 rupees per year without hostel facilities. Although, If you get in by taking a payment seat, that is direct entry without any entrance test, then the fee is way more than that. Its almost double and is around 90,000 a year.

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum is quite good. This college is one of the oldest and the best college in the Jammu and Kashmir. A lot of emphasis is laid on practical aspects and not just theoretical. The exam structure is standard and is same for all engineering colleges associated with Jammu University.

Fees -

The fee structure is really feasible. It is around 50k including taxes and all for one complete year. Compared to the facilities offered by the college it is not much. You have to pay extra if you are taking the bus. There is a one time fee deducted initially which is refunded once you pass out

Course Curriculum -

The course is designed as per the syllabus provided by Jammu university. The subjects in first year are supplementary and build the base for future courses. The syllabus was strictly followed throughout the college. Also, as last year approaches you are supposed to do a lot of projects and trainings.

completely dissatisfied with this college

Fees -

The fee is taken two times a year but most part of it is taken during odd semester i.e during 1st,3rd,5th and 7th semester and very less part is taken during even semesters and fees are taken in the form draft. the fee is nearly 70,000 per annum it was a bit less up to 60,000 per annum but has now increased to 70k.

Course Curriculum -

The course is strictly according to the University of Jammu and is very hectic but has nothing to do with practicality.the subjects are far away from practical implementation.the subjects are such that they were part of some prestigious institutes somewhat 10-15 years ago i.e very old pattern is employed here.

Fees -

Fee structure there is low comparatively from the most of engineering colleges. As it is an expensive Course. Our college provide scholarship opportunities to deserving candidates who were incapable of paying fee. The fee I paid during my coarse was around about 50000 per year i. e for two semesters apart from hostel. I can't say about the latest fee structure.

Course Curriculum -

The course prescribed here very modern and technically up to date. As the college is affiliated with Jammu University so the syllabus is as prescribed by the university. This college provided us with many research opportunities. There is IBM affiliated research laboratory in this college which was one of the best perks of this college. The atmosphere is technically very sound. You can also get opportunities to publish your research papers if you are good enough.

Fees -

Fee Structure Of Engineering Is Also Feasible If You Have Qualified JKCET. Fee For 1 Year Is 67000 And You Have To Pay This Amount Once In A Year In Only One Installment At The Time Of Admission. You Have To Make A Demand Draft For Payment Of Your Fee.

Course Curriculum -

We have good course structure which really focuses on research as it is India's one of the most prestigious and research institution we are getting enough to learn we are actually learning here the basics and will surely reach the best to what we are here for.

Fees -

The fee varies every year but it never exceeds INR 60,000. Except for the first year where the approximate fee value goes up to INR 80,000.

Course Curriculum -

The course was one among the best. A lot of focus was given on practical learning. A lot of projects and research is done every year.

Best College in Jammmu

Fees -

Fee Structure is according to the AICTE norms. It is around 50K per year and that is not much expensive according to the todays scenario as compared to the other colleges. When i took the admission at that time Fees was not much but it is like this now a days as I mentioned in the comments.

Course Curriculum -

Course structure was according to the Branch opted. First year is almost common for all the stream. after the 3rd semester subjects changes according to the stream you have opted for. Final 2 years are purely on your stream with detailed and well structured syllabus and course content.

Fees -

The fee structure was very affordable as it was the lowest in the entire north India. With annual fee structure of 28000 per year it gave an affordable opportunity to the students of the region to pursue their engineering degree.

Course Curriculum -

The college was affiliated to University of Jammu and therefore followed the curriculum proposed by them. It was old and was not up to dated. Most of the current subjects like VLSI, Embedded during that time were not part of curriculum. Though College tie ups with top universities and companies did gave us the required skill set required in the industry.

Since i got the free seat in the college, therefore the fees i gave for the 4 years was approx 1 lakh rupees excluding hostel fees etc. However, for the paid seats the fees was around 3 laks for 4 years.

Course Curriculum -

It covered all the basic subjects that are requited to enter into the IT World. Subjects include all the programming languages, with software engineering, operating system concepts etc.

"MIET, Jammu"

The MIET college is one the best colleges in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Everyone knows about it and they have made a good name for themselves. The infrastructure and the campus are very good and very big, surrounded by trees and nature all around. One negative thing that I would like to mention is that the college lies on the outskirts of the town and it takes time to reach their and the local transport facility to reach there is kind of average.

"A pathetic and disspointing experience with this college"

If anybody wants to make his/her future bright please don't think of this college the biggest drawback of this college is poor faculty along with the poor transport services in the area the road is also broken.

"Most happening college in Jammu"

First of all, there is a boot camp held every year and it is not like an outing. There are police trainers invited every year to a private property established in patnitop. They arrange adventure sport experience for students every year. Then there is the college fest every year plus numerous workshops. It is the most valued college in Jammu region and offers a vast array of courses. Also, the fee is affordable and the staff is nice. It was a 10 minute distance from my home as well. Apart from education, they have plenty of co curricular stuff from college festivals to boot camps. There are regular workshops for technical and non-technical fields. They have well equipped labs and great helpin...
