RVR and JC College of Engineering in Chowdavaram, Guntur, is an autonomous private college with seats in B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and BBA. Admissions follow the rules of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. For B.Tech, 70% of seats are filled through AP EAPCET counselling, and the college fills the other 30% as Category B seats. M.Tech seats are given through GATE or AP PGECET, and MBA and MCA seats through AP ICET. BBA seats are given on Class 12 marks through the state degree admission portal. The college has no entrance test of its own. The B.Tech fee for a counselling seat is INR 1.05 Lakhs a year for 2026-27.
RVR and JC B.Tech Admission 2027
B.Tech is the biggest programme at RVR and JC, with 1,740 seats in twelve branches. Computer Science and Engineering (AI and ML) has the most seats, 360, followed by Computer Science and Engineering with 300. Most seats are given through AP EAPCET counselling by APSCHE. The college fills Category B seats itself, using the merit order set by the state. Diploma holders can join the second year through AP ECET.
RVR and JC B.Tech Eligibility 2027
You need to pass Class 12 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. AP EAPCET asks for 45% in these three subjects, or 40% if you belong to a reserved category. You must be at least 16 years old on 31 December of the year you join. You also need a valid AP EAPCET rank for a Category A seat. You pay INR 800 for the AP EAPCET form if you are in the OC group, and INR 1,200 for counselling. For a Category A seat, the tuition fee is INR 1.05 Lakhs a year for 2026-27, fixed by the state.
