Siliguri Institute of Technology Darjeeling Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

When i came to siliguri institute of technology. I was very confused and nervous about the college. Then i made new friends and slowly slowly i adapted the environment here. It was totally new environment. The college has very nice infrastructure.

Positive mark is it is located in the foothills and there is a pleasant weather with very less pollution. there is available food all around the place at very cheap prices and there are good tourist spots near the campus in a 10-15 km radius, cost of living is quite cheap!

College campus is great. It is situated in the laps of Himalayas. The environment is hood, friendly. Academics and classes are regular. But placement cell guys should take their jobs much carefully.Otherwise it is a good institute.

The college is really good.Considering it is a private college apart from that it provides huge amount of opportunities.Also the environment is best.And the teaching staff are really support.There is a gym in college where you can go for exercise.

I went through councelling with my rank card attained after qualifying WBJEE. It was kind of simple. The admission cell is quite understanding and listen to your doubts and help to over come any faced problems. The paper works take about 2 hrs at max. They usually ask to bring the admission fees for the first sem to get things started.

It's a great college if we want to study amidst of the nature. The picturesque surrounding is mind boggling. If some one reaches there he will surely be baffled by the environment in which we students live. The mountains, the springs, the tea gardens are very beautiful.

The college has been a life changer for many people. With great ambience and professional experienced faculty members the college has made a reputation in the North Eastern Sector of India. A Great number of our students have been placed at reputable organization and companies doing good work and helping the college grow.

No negative remarks. Their are multiple posituve points for the college. The college has a very good environment for everything that a student needs in the college. Every student is monitored for their academics and extra activities.

The positive remark: The faculty is very nice, understanding and bankable. They are always ready for help. The negative remark: The building's lift is still under construction and the cricket ground is not properly made.

All of our college facilities are pointing towards positiveness.Though there are some senior who has none of business in our college.They came in college just to tease junior students. The library faculty is also a bit rude. These 2 are the only negative remarks
