One of the best institute to study in north bengal

The course is asper MAKAUT. The degree is provided from WBUT. Hence the degree is from a government recognized institute. The first year carriculum is not of my favorite cause it has lot of out of topic subject yo study on. Probably unliked by lot of people. As years progress the curriculum gets more relevant.do after 2019 new set of course curriculum has been implemented it makes the second year third semester kind of challenging but it is necessary for the foundation of the upcoming years .For me the curriculum was kind of ok is has a balance of departmental and non departmental subjects and yet its industrally relevant too. with respect to some other colleges we might have a big difference in having subjects being distributed over the years of study it's not of any harm or would make things critical for a student in this course course curriculum is MOD of a very simplified and easy to digest for an average student. There is a good experience from my side. Hope the same for the reader as well .

As I belong to CE I don't have much knowledge about the other streams. For my stream, I would say till now the job opportunity in core technical is kind of less. A lot of sales companies join the campus. The internship is provided by few companies which are invited by the faculty itself. It includes a PI round to qualify. The stipend is somewhat between 7k to 11k INR. The period is 6 months. Though I still have 8 more months before graduation. Hope for few more opportunities.

Getting a list is quite hard right at this moment. One can go through the website for a detailed review on the same. Moreover, I would say every 2 weeks one or the other event is celebrated. Starting from Saraswati puja to biswakarma puja, akshay urja dewas to techfest several of these events are celebrated

The fee is feasible. It's around 82k INR on the first sem and 60k on the 2nd sem. Then it drops to 42250 for the 3, 4th sem. And 43250 for the 5, 6th sem. And finally, the security money from the 1st sem of 10k is deduced from the last 7,8th sem.

For me, I didn't have any loan for finance. But if one has to avail any of such, any recognized bank accepts to provide. The scholarship is provided to TFW. dropping the sem fees to about just 1200 INR. And few other gov approved plans for the scholarship are there with benefits up to 10k. These will be brought under a students knowledge during his 1st sem

Activities are kind of like one has to work by himself, labs are strictly followed as per course curriculum. Sports like basketball, volleyball, table tennis, carrom facilities are present. Gym facilities are also there. If I have to rate I would give 8/10 for guidance and 7/10 for equipment

I personally faced no raging or bullies. The campus is raging free with 24x7 cctv monitoring. On the topic of being helpful its actually depends. Alumni are actually more useful and helping thn tge seniors. Few of thm visit us to provide training and share experience. I usually like listening to them.

I went through councelling with my rank card attained after qualifying WBJEE. It was kind of simple. The admission cell is quite understanding and listen to your doubts and help to over come any faced problems. The paper works take about 2 hrs at max. They usually ask to bring the admission fees for the first sem to get things started.

Won't say state of the art or so. The truth is they are understanding individuals. Moreover being a teacher they are friends in terms of simplifying critical engineering stuff. I belong to the CE stream and I had a great experience here. A few teachers are there to turn the table at times but its better not to be in their hotlist. In terms of education quality, I give a solid {(7)/(10)} for labs and equipment {7.5/10}.
