SIT Lonavala BE (Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission to Direct Second Year Engineering are as follows:
- The candidate must be an Indian national.
- They should have passed either a minimum three-year or two-year (lateral entry) Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (or 40% marks for candidates from Maharashtra belonging to Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, or Persons with Disabilities), in any branch, from an institution approved by AICTE or the Central/State Government or an equivalent authority.
- Alternatively, candidates who have completed a B.Sc. degree from a university recognized by the UGC or the Association of Indian Universities with at least 45% marks (40% for eligible Maharashtra category candidates) and have studied Mathematics at the HSC or equivalent level are also eligible. They may also be eligible if they have passed a three-year D.Voc. course in the same or a related field.
- Additionally, any other eligibility criteria announced by the relevant authority under the applicable regulations will also be considered.
