Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because in my course there has lot of good opportunity in other countries after BTech if you will go for masters Or higher studies. But our faculties are moderate and placement scenario is also moderate.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the end of their 6th semester. This may vary however depending upon the visiting companies. P360, Nomura FinTech, LTI Mindtree, Cognizant and Wipro are some of the visiting companies. The lowest package ranges from 3 lakhs to 4 lakhs per annum. The highest package on campus was 8 lakhs. However, students get better packages than their capacity off-campus. The placement percentage is quite healthy with around 85-90% of students getting placed. I'm planning to pursue a career in the central government after the completion of my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm in the Electronics and Communication Department (ECE), speaking of which, it is a very informative course and the only benefit about this course is that you can make a career in either the IT sector or the core sector, which the other department students don't get easily, Talking about the faculty there are only a handful of teachers who have impressive teaching skills, the rest of them have a good knowledge of the subject but it feels like they have no idea about the teaching skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from the ECE branch not by choice. Like everyone, I was looking for a CSE branch. ECE is a mixture of both hardware and software(mostly hardware). Faculty are not so friendly but they will guide you through your 4 year journey. STCET is very strict in terms of education. All the faculty members are highly qualified and they teach mostly in English and use Bengali in between this is one of the challenges that a non-Bengali will face during lectures. STCET is under MAKAUT University and MAKAUT sets paper in a way that a student can pass with ease and internal exams and practicals are easy too, any student who is committed to a few days of hard work can clear the exam.
