Remarks :

I m in ISE 1st yr 2nd sem in NIE •The only good thing about this college is placements for ISE and CSE that u will often hear about •Rest pls don't make expectations from campus it's horrible. This place is specifically a nightmare for North Indians. Only The new building for EE and ECE is good but for the rest the classrooms r horrible. •Talking about sports there is a basketball court and a common field for cricket and football. Only diamond jubilee is good in which u can play badminton and tt. • I didn't get a hostel so I took udipi pg which I won't recommend at all. The food is not good for North Indians in a hostel and especially not in udipi pg. Udipi is also very expensive I would prefer either hostel or any other room or flat without food because there r 2 North Indian mess nearby which r decent •Talking about placements what seniors told me that all college wants is 100% placements. They just give u two offers and don't let u sit further. •Attendance is strict 75% for all except CSE students

Remarks :

Being a private institution, The curriculum of NIE is not hard as compared to other colleges and NIE gives you more free time. The campus is on 18 acres. Don't keep many expectations from the campus. It's not large and there's not much campus life.

Admission :

Well, the admission was through CET ranking, just the basic and routine document verifications preceeded the admission process. There was no group discussion round, interview or written test conducted by the college specifically.

Remarks :

It was close to my house, and it is a respectable institute. Was actually expecting to be placed in a good Construction Campany, sadly that was not the case. Heard that the lecturers for Civil Engineering were pretty experienced. Not much encouragement is provided for extra curricular activities.

Remarks :

One of the Prestigious Colleges in Karnataka with 100% Placements. The available Hostel and Coaching facilities are also worth joining the college. Our college is famously known for its Mechanical Engineering branch which is one of the oldest in the country, the male to female students ratio is also above average compared to most of the other colleges thus being comfortable and secure for female students. They also have very well facilitated sports complex with gym and other facilities required.

Admission :

I was selected for this college by doing good in entrance exam. Admission process is easy some documents to be provided. I choose compuyer science over electronics, because computer science could be better.

Remarks :

Yea, by studying in this institution we get a good placement at good companies. Also we would be spot selected at the last sem itself, so last sem isnt much important.
