Yuvaraja's College Admission 2027 is based on merit for most courses. The college is on JLB Road in Mysuru, and it is a constituent autonomous college of the University of Mysore. For B.Sc, BCA and BBA, your II PUC marks decide your seat, and there is no entrance test. The college calls students to counselling in groups, by their marks. For M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Food Science and Nutrition, you write the University of Mysore PG entrance test. Your final merit adds your degree marks and your test marks in equal parts. For the MBA, KEA fills every seat by your Karnataka PGCET rank. Last year, B.Sc counselling began on 27 Apr 2026, and the 2027 dates will follow a similar pattern.

Yuvaraja's College B.Sc Admission 2027

B.Sc is the biggest course at the college. You study three main subjects together, called a combination. The college offers 19 combinations, such as PCM, CBZ and PMCs. The course lasts three years, and classes are taught in English. There are two kinds of seats: Scheme A seats with a lower fee, and Scheme B seats with a higher fee.

First, you fill the college application form and register on the Karnataka UUCMS portal. The college then puts up a counselling notice that gives each marks band its own day. On your day, you come to the college with all your original papers. If a seat is free in your combination, you pay the fee there and your admission is done.

The college offers two M.Sc courses: Chemistry, and Food Science and Nutrition. Each course has 40 regular seats and 8 more for students from other universities. Government fee help: SC, ST and Category I students with family income up to INR 2.5 Lakhs, and other categories up to INR 1 Lakh, get full or part fee help. The money goes to your bank account by DBT.

Central schemes: Post matric and merit scholarships, and special scholarships for children of defence staff and for students with a disability.

Earn while you learn: The college pays deserving students for small jobs on campus.

Free mid-day meal: 175 poor students get a free lunch, paid from a college fund.

Endowment prizes: Cash prizes for high marks in some subjects, given by donors.

Refund: None. The college does not return a fee once you pay it.

SC and ST fee help: SC and ST students with family income up to INR 2.5 Lakhs can apply for the Scheme B fee on the State Scholarship Portal.

Fee in two parts: If your family income is above INR 2.5 Lakhs, you can pay the tuition fee in two parts.

Refund: Ask in writing with your admission card and fee receipt; the University follows the UGC refund policy.
