MIT-SOM Pune Admission Dates 2026

MIT-SOM Pune conducts MBA admissions in multiple phases each academic year. Phase 2 for the 2026-27 batch closed on August 15, 2026. A subsequent phase is expected after CAT 2026 results are declared. MCA admissions for 2026-27 have concluded.

MIT-SOM Pune Courses and Fees

MIT-SOM Pune offers two postgraduate programmes: MBA and MCA. The MBA is available in 11 specialisations at a uniform fee of INR 7,80,000 for two years. The MCA is priced at INR 6,00,000 for two years.

MBA Admission Process

• Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% aggregate (55% for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra). Final-year students may apply provisionally.
• Step 1: Entrance Exam Score. A valid score in CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAH-MBA CET, MAT, or PERA is mandatory.
• Step 2: MIT-WPU CBT. A 50-mark Computer-Based Test conducted by the university for all shortlisted applicants.
• Step 3: Group Discussion and Extempore. Communication, reasoning, and spontaneity assessment.
• Step 4: Personal Interview. Panel interview evaluating awareness, motivation, and career goals.
• Step 5: Academic Record and Work Experience. Past academic performance and relevant work experience contribute to the final composite score. Work experience is not mandatory.

Candidates using CAT 2026 scores (exam: November 29, 2026) can apply in the next admission phase. MIT-SOM accepts fresh CAT scores for subsequent rounds.

MCA Admission Process

• Eligibility: B.Sc in Science stream or BCA with minimum 60% aggregate (55% reserved category). Mathematics mandatory at 10+2 or graduation level.
• Entrance Exam: MIT-WPU CET
• Selection: MIT-WPU CET score followed by a Personal Interaction round
