- I love the vibe and environment here. It's just very peaceful and safe
- You'd love the crowd here every body is doing something awesome and will help you explore your awesomeness.
- I love the library too it's just so peaceful and perfect for self studies.
Dislikes
- What I find bad about Hansraj is it has loads of monkeys in the campus which is dangerous since they even attack students some times.
- The toilets here are not very well managed and flushes and mirrors are not missing sometimes.
- It's not great to count on Hansraj when it comes to event's. It's not very happening when comes to fests and events.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose economics bc I personally loved economics plus the maths teacher for economics is very supportive and helpful. She's good at teaching. Meanwhile the pressure is real that you'll have to deal with it , the teachers are nice but the curriculum is quite tirring along with the society work. Tests and project's are given on regular basis

- The infrastructure of the campus and the comfort and luxury it provides with minimum cost.
- The kind of opportunities and competitions, as well as speaker sessions organised gives great insights into the particular field of study.
- The efforts of teachers to teach despite knowing nothing.
Dislikes
- A below average teacher provided for one of the most important subjects such as business law.
- Seems like a school without uniform, and over enthusiastic crowd coming to college everyday for attendance and becoming teachers pet.
- Discriminatory behaviour of some teachers, and their sheer inability to grasp the students attention while teaching.
Course Curriculum Overview:
1. The course that I have chosen is B.Com(h) as I studies Commerce in higher secondary.
2. The course is interesting and prepares for real life applications and employment in the corporate sector really well.
3. The content of textbooks is very well written, we just need good faculty for teaching it.
4. Semester exams happend once a semester with medium level difficulty.

- Brand name: so hansraj college, everyone knows and a big flex when you can say a lot of famous and successful people are graduated from here and when one of those people are the one and one shahrukh khan
- Faculty: too supporting and friendly faculty
- Competition: this is where I can atleast get a little competition
Dislikes
- Fake people: why do they always try to fake themself, I mean I am not against someone faking it, but it should not look at your face, lol
- Old infrastructure: college got a beautiful infrastructure but it needs some good rework
- Study: who goes to college for studies????😩
Placement Experience:
A lot of companies come for the final year students to offer them a lot of roles, some of the companies are ey, Genpact, ibm.
There are more than 50 companies (or even more) comes for placement of multiple students)

- Faculty is highly qualified and are friendly towards the students and ensure that the learning environment is approachable.
- Crowd of the college is a blend of varieties of identities in terms of people from different backgrounds and mostly are good and helpful and do not have a snooty attitude
- Hostel facilities are good, in terms of space, rooms are small and are double sharing but in terms of food quality it's far better than PGs and tiffin services and other hostels.
Dislikes
- College campus is comparatively smaller, and there is a lack of good quality infrastructure especially for sports
- Principal is strict and therefore discipline needs to be maintained in terms of attending classes, behaviour within the campus, etc.
- Most likely hostel will be dismantled very soon.
Placement Experience:
Students sit for placements from the fifth semester onwards. Majorly placements are focused for students pursuing economics and commerce, comp. Sci. Hons. course, however courses of math hons., etc., also get placed at good companies. Some big names come to Hansraj including LEK, Goldman Sachs, BCG, BCN, Alvarez nd marsal, DeShaw JPMorgan, etc., the highest package is by DeShaw of 22LPA this year, and the avg. package is about 8 lakhs. There a. Lot of offers made students can check out the placement cell of Hansraj College for exact details on Instagram handles. My core plan is to sit for placements.

- The students and Faculty is very friendly and collaborative.There is no toxic environment at all
- The pathways are very nice , made of tiles and infrastructure is decent
- The best canteen in North campus DU consisting of Cafeteria, Mitti Cafe, nescafe and amul
Dislikes
- the classrooms are really small of A block
- the buildings are relatively small in comparison to other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview:
the cirriculum is up to date , it focuses on real world applications of studies , with the help of analyzing case studies , etc. the frequqncy of examinations is okay as there are mainly end semester exams, but there are a lot of difficult assignments to do.

- There are various society in the campus for skill development and ideas engaging

- Ao many societies are there couldn't able to where to go this is one problem for me
- Cafteria is always full i mean the main cafeteria
- The elections day in college seems more irrating causing disturbance

- I have been going for 2 months , i don't think there is anything that i disliked
- Sports ground should be even more bigger.
- Hostel is not provided for delhi ncr students.

My course is B.Sc ( bachelors of science ) ( hons. ) chemistry , this course is for students who are interested in research fields, science etc .
There are organic chemistry, physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry classes.

- The college vibes is awesome like hansraj college is famous for srk
- The kind of exposure that you get is really great as it is one of the top college in India
- The boys to girls ratio is like 40:60 in our college. But for my course its higher like 70:30.that makes this very good for north campus college
Dislikes
- Hansraj college is very very strict. Like it is said that the administration is the most strict in whole du
- Hansraj college is very small as compared to other college campus.
- There is always some construction going on in the college. That makes this a little inconvenience.
Placement Experience:
There are placement cell in hansraj college which provides the placement for the various courses which are majority bcom hons , ba economics hons and bsc computer science hons and the rest are have a general placement opportunity. The companies which come in college for placement usually come for these courses only. Rest courses usually goes for higher education or upsc or other government exams.

- Food, but don't recommend meals on Friday or Thursday, i don't know why but tastes a little weird.
- Time & Space for fun activities to refresh your mood after hours and hours of study
- Teacher - Student relationship, here professors are really helpful.
Dislikes
- Sometimes i see garbage bins empty and area around if full of trash and it takes like 1 hour for cleaning staff to notice it and clean it.
- Bullying is kinda ignored here, all those high status kids bully others and teachers sometimes just walk past them.
Placement Experience:
In my batch, after the completion of 3 years you could go for post graduate courses or opt for placements which were most of the time in colleges or other educational institutions.
I remember the least package was like 8 lpa and highest was 40 lpa or something.
I never opted for placements because i had other plans in further studies but have heard from others that students are getting placed in good institutions as teachers or other faculty member with really good packages like 6 lpa or 8 lpa as freshers salary.

- One of the best coed college of delhi university in north campus
- Best staff, faculty teaching and non teaching staff are so supportive
- Situated in north campus and very close to other colleges like miranda house and more and also very close to department of mathematics (where all the classes are held)
Placement Experience:
Placement cell organises several visits of different companies in the department. But since this course is majorly focused by students having a vision of doctorate programs. Students planning for placements after theirs masters should go with statistics and operational research program. These teo courses have better placement rate.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
