SBS is a nice college and an amazing faculty.

Likes

Very spacious campus and comfortable hostel facility.
Faculty is very supportive and helpful that creates a positive environment in class
Mess food is very good and tasty, and the menu is not repetitive so its doesn't feel boring.

Dislikes

Have to face several difficulties during the rainy season.
Sometimes attending too much lectures feels tiring.
Drainage system is very poor in the whole area.

Placement Experience:

SBS provide good placement and aims to provide good career opportunities to students. According to my seniors many students got placed with very good package in nice companies. The highest package was about 16 lpa last year, although the average package is 7-8 lakh as far as i know.

A positive and practical PGDM experience at Shanti business School

Likes

The faculty member is supportive and explain concept refractive example, making the learning experience easier and more interesting
I like the friendly environment and opportunities to participate in presentation, event and group activities and other student activities
The courses provide a good combination of classroom of learning and practical exposure through project studies, presentation in industry related activities

Dislikes

The placement process can be approved for the more companies from different industries and providing more opportunities across various roles
More industries visit life project and interruption with corporate professionals would make the learning experience, even more practical
Some facilities and student abilities can be approved further to make the overall campus experience more comfortable and convenient

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant in well structured for a PGDM program. It covers important areas of management and provides a good combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. I choose this course because it first exposure to different areas of business and help and develop developing management skills.

The faculty members are good, experienced and helpful.
ROI of the college is good. And the college also claims 100% placements.
The college encourages students to participate in sports and other activities.

Dislikes

Sometimes that mess food is not good. so they need to improve the quality of the food.
In rainy reason the water gets stored in the college due to which students have to face many problems.
The college should focus more on practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cource curriculum is really good. After complication od every unit the faculty members take a small test to know whether the topics are clear to the students or not. But there is one thing that they should kep in mind that there are many subjects so they should provide sufficient gap between each subject so that the students don't get exahusted.

Placement Experience:

Placement at Shanti business School are good, with most student becoming eligible from the final year. companies like TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, deloit, berger paint, Adani and Kotak Mahindra visit the campus for recruitment the average packages around 5 to 6 LPA while the highest package goes up to 15 to 16 LPA. The most student who meet the eligibility criteria get placement opportunities. after completing my PGDM I plan to start my career industry experience.

SBS requires a mandatory 75% attendance for every subject to sit for semester examinations, leaving very small margin for absences.
The total PGDM fee is around ₹8–10 lakh for 2 years, paid yearly. It includes tuition and other mandatory charges. Fees may increase for new batches. Merit and government scholarships are available for eligible students.
The academic schedule can become quite busy during exams and assignment submissions, making it challenging to balance extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good, with students eligible from the final year. Companies from BFSI, FMCG, IT, and consulting visit the campus. The college provides training, mock interviews, and career support to improve employability.

Likes

The thing which I liked the most about the college is the faculties, they are supportive and helpful.
The second thing which I liked is the care that the director shows, her words really feels like she has a duty towards her students.
The third thing which I liked is the networking opportunities that the college gives.

Dislikes

The first thing which I dislike is the hostel rooms, they are tiny and don't have sufficient space for the triple sharing.
The second thing which I didn't like is the hostel conditions, the hostel is not in proper condition and the director even asked us that we have to change the hostel for the repair of the current hostel.

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement opportunities, recently 10-12 seniors got placed at a company named KPK and got an average placement of 10.2 lpa, they are a finance related firm which handles US accounting. The college also provides good placement opportunities in marketing too, for marketing there are lot of companies who comes.

A great place for practical business exposure and learning beyond the classroom.

Likes

Faculties are very understanding and their method of teaching is excellent.
Infrastructure is so good and the classes are big with smart boards and laddered rows.
Lust green campus and a lot of extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

Drainage system in rainy season is not so good in the college area.
Transport facilities are not easily available other than uber or rapido.
college is location deep in Shela, Ahmedabad

Placement Experience:

As of now the 2nd year student placement are going on after they completed their summer internship programme. A company name KandK have recruited 11 students from finance feild with the package of 10.5 LPA . Also compamies like AMUL, Parle, Coca Cola, Asian paints are some of the visited companies. There is 100% placement of our super senior and faculties are giving special focus on the students for interviews.
