Xavier Institute of Management, popularly known as XIMB, situated in Bhubaneswar is the result of a social contract between the OJS (Orissa Jesuit Society) and the Government of Orissa. The Management of the institute is in the hands of a Governing Board, comprising of representatives from the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Orissa and eminent educationists and industrialists. Established in the year 1987, is one of the best management institutes of India.
XIMB offers 2 years MBA in Business Management, MBA Global and Doctorate programmes. In order to fulfil the Admission criteria, a candidate can submit his/her CAT/XAT/GMAT scores. The institute accepts these equivalent examination scores under the XIMB Cut off Percentile.

Since XIMB is an autonomous institute not affiliated to any university, it does not grant degrees. XIMB offers two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management and two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) which are recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and are equivalent to an MBA degree. XIMB Courses also include doctorate Programmes provided to the students in certain fields.
XIMB Executive MBA:
The minimum requirement for XIMB Admission for Executive MBA programme is a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations can also apply.

XIMB Executive MBA Fee Structure is Rupees sixteen lakh seventy thousand only (Rs. 16, 70,000/-) given as a grand total. Students can pay the total fee in two annual instalments one is for Rs. 8, 00,000/- in the first year and the other Rs. 8, 70,000/- in the second year.
