Jansons Institute of Technology offers four-year full-time B.E course in five specializations with the capacity of 60 seats in each branch and M.E in 3 specializations at the postgraduate level.

  • Mode of application is offline and the candidates can get the application form from the college’s office.
  • Candidates who have passed HSC/ 10+2 (Academic/ Vocational) or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission into B.E course.
  • Candidates are selected for B.E course solely on the basis of their marks obtained in 10+2 and admission to the applicants is given through state level Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling process conducted by the Anna University, Chennai.
  • Applicants who hold B.E/ B.Tech in any discipline from Anna University or its equivalent along with valid GATE/ TANCET score are considered eligible for admission to ME.
  • Selection of the candidates for ME course is done on the basis of their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score or marks obtained in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University.
  • Admission is given through Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) process.

Janson Institute of Technology offers full-time B.E course in five specializations. Candidates who have completed 10+2/ HSC with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or vocational subjects and have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for BC/ BCM and 40% for SC/ ST/ MBC & DNC candidates) are considered eligible to get admission into BE. They should have domicile of Tamil Nadu.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of candidate’s merit in 10+2/ HSC through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission). TNEA is a state level counselling process conducted by the Anna University, Chennai.

  • Candidates whose names are listed in the rank list of TNEA are allowed to participate in the counselling process.
  • General category candidates who secure minimum 50% marks and the candidates of OBC/ MBC/ DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST category who secured minimum 40% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible to participate in TNEA.

JIT offers 2 years full-time ME course in 3 specializations. Applicants with BE/ B.Tech degree in any discipline from Anna University or its equivalent, according to the qualification criteria of Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) are considered eligible for admission to M.E course.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their merit in the BE/ B.Tech including their score of GATE or TANCET. TANCA is a state level admission procedure conducted by the Anna University, Chennai for the admission of candidates into ME/ M.Tech courses. It is generally conducted in the month of June every year.

Management Scholarship: AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarship is provided to the students whose family’s annual income is less than 4.50 lakhs, such candidates are exempted from paying the tuition fee under this scheme.
