NMITD Admission Dates 2026

NMITD admissions for 2026-28 are conducted through the Maharashtra State CET Cell Centralised Admission Process (CAP). MMS is admitted via MAH-MBA-CET and MCA via MAH-MCA-CET, both through DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds. MCA CAP rounds have concluded and MMS CAP rounds are in the final stage as of August 2026.

NMITD Courses and Fees

NMITD offers two postgraduate programmes: MMS across five specialisations and a two-year MCA. The MMS annual fee is INR 1,30,000, totalling INR 2,60,000 for the full programme regardless of specialisation. MCA total fee is INR 2,50,000 for two years.

The uniform fee across MMS specialisations lets students choose their track based entirely on career interest. NMITD does not have an on-campus hostel. The Dadar West location keeps commuting costs low for students from across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

NMITD Admission Process

All admissions at NMITD are through the Maharashtra State CET Cell CAP system. After all CAP rounds conclude, vacant institute-level seats are filled directly by NMITD on merit. No separate management quota exists outside the CAP pool at NMITD.

MMS Admission

• Eligibility: Any graduation degree with minimum 50% aggregate. Final-year students may apply provisionally. Valid MAH-MBA-CET score required.
• Candidates register for MAH-MBA-CET on the Maharashtra CET Cell portal and appear for the exam.
• After result declaration, candidates register for the Maharashtra MMS CAP and fill college and specialisation preferences. NMITD is listed among the Mumbai colleges in the CAP portal.
• Seat allotment is based on CET percentile, category reservation (OBC 19%, SC 13%, ST 7%, EWS 10%), and preference order.
• Confirmed candidates report to NMITD with original graduation mark sheets, CET scorecard, and category certificate where applicable.

MCA Admission

• Eligibility: Any graduation degree with minimum 50% aggregate. Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level is mandatory. Final-year students may apply provisionally. Valid MAH-MCA-CET score required.
• Candidates register for MAH-MCA-CET, appear for the exam, and participate in Maharashtra MCA CAP counselling after result declaration.
• Mathematics is a hard eligibility requirement for MCA. Candidates without Mathematics background at 10+2 or graduation level are not eligible.
• After all CAP rounds, NMITD fills remaining seats as institute-level direct admission based on MAH-MCA-CET merit.

NMITD Placements
