Placement Experience :

Placement of my college is quite good if you are an average or above-average student. About 25% of the students are placed directly other companies like Wipro HCL visit our college every year. From 6th semester you are eligible to take part in the placements. My plans after getting a degree are to pursue my Mtech degree.

Remarks :

It's a good college because the teacher here is very supportive. But some of the teachers here are rude also. Placement is in good ratio if you are an average or above-average student. For Admission, you have to give jee mains entrance exam and after that check regularly on the website of houses for an application form. Then you can fill it and get into the counselling process.

Ques. Which is better for a BTech in mechanical engineering, Chandigarh University or UIET KUK?

● Top Answer By Sudeshna Bhar on 12 Jan 21

Ans. Chandigarh University (CU), the youngest university to be ranked by NIRF. It is placed at 84th in the NIRF ranking of 2020 for engineering institutes. The university has also got NAAC A+ accreditation, which gives it international recognition.  Studying at CU as one of its students has its own perks and benefits. Students and teachers from not only CU but other universities also know the value of a CU degree in your resume. Categories Chandigarh University UIET KUK Placement Percentage 90% 80% Highest CTC 35 LPA 28 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA 3.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Samsung, Wipro, Essel, Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Hyundai, Amazon, Mahindra, etc. Adani, Aricent, IBM, Infosys, L&T, etc. Without a doubt, CU is far better than UIET KUK for the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course. The brand name of CU is enough to add feathers to your resume. The best part about CU is that it is an entirely student-oriented university. A few perks of CU which gives it an upper hand over UIET KUK are listed below: CU is parallel with technology. They have advanced laboratories even for the mechanical students. CU inculcates practical learning in students by giving them good industrial exposure. For example, the industrial visit to the Gurugram plant which is Asia’s biggest manufacturing plant of Maruti Suzuki.  Top companies like Samsung, Wipro, Godrej, Tafe, Amazon, etc. frequently recruit students from CU. CU prepares students for the competition by organizing technical events and allowing students to participate in the various events or fests to enhance their extra-curricular activities, skill-sets, and knowledge. It also organises expert lectures from prominent personalities and conducts events for different social-causes. In CU, you will find yourself learning from the best professors of the university. CU also has a well-equipped library with all genres of books.  The whole campus is WIFI enabled. The Mechanical Engineering (ME) from CU is the most promising program to take. However, a disadvantage of CU is the fee structure. The fees for the BE in Mechanical Engineering is Rs.6.4 Lakh and the fees for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in UIET KUK is Rs. 4.2 Lakh. The quality of education is unbeatable in CU. They provide a better engineering education than UIET KUK.Read more

"Best Government College"

Government institute, less course fee structure, descent placement, plenty of opportunities, a lot of free time to explore new opportunities, not very farther to my home town. The campus is lush green. The administration is not up to the mark. Labs are okayish.

"UIET Genuine Review"

I choose this college because Kurukshetra University is one of the oldest and best University of Haryana. It is A+ grade University given by NAAC. Campus is quite good and there is nice environment. There are lots of department and mostly every essential item is available inside the university (University Market). UIET was established in 2004 and it is third most prefer college in Haryana after NIT and YMCA. There are only four trades Avaliable here for BTech (Cse ECE Mechanical Biotech). Campus Placement is also good but average package is around 4 lakh. Students mostly placed in Infosys ViVo Tcs and if you're brilliant enough then you may even get PSU like BEL etc. Overall college and camp
