Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well-designed, encompassing both theoretical and practical components, which provides a comprehensive understanding of both the subject. Its structure and relevance were significant factors in my decision to choose this course, as it aligns closely with my academic and professional aspiration. In the first year , we covered essential tpics like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, EGD, C programming, etc. And then we transit to core subjects like Python, Object-Oriented Programming(C++), Data Structure Algorithm(C), ensures a gradual and thorough immersion into specialized knowledge. Along with these subjects we alson have Subjects that aim holistic growth, such as Universal Human Values and the Essence of Traditional Knowledge, and others. We have one subject like this every semester. We have each and every subject. We just need more teachers specialized in those subjects. Like Artifical Intelligence, we have thIs subejct but no specialized teacher for it. We have enough time fro exams. Like one to two months of classes then first sessional, then one month for classes and then second sessional...and then preparation holidays and final exams.

Placement Experience

From fourth semester, students become eligible for campus placements, we get companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Adani Group, ICICI, HDFC Back, Axis bank, Vardhman Group, Indian Oil and Hindustani Zinc. Infosys Ltd. made a package of 3.25LPA Adani Gas Ltd. made a package of 4.5 LPA Wipro Technologies 3.25 LPA and so on.... Highest package offered at the UIET, KUK in 2023 was INR 20 lakhs for the B.Tech. in CSE course. The average salary for the same course was INR 4.20 lakhs. Most of the successfull alumni have their own startups. I want to get a placement job after my degree.

Campus Life

We recently jad Diwali fest in october, which was organized bu UIET, KUK itself. it was great fest, and we enjoyed a lot too. We have every required book in our college, but it's like first come first serve. If you go after 2-3 days of the given date for book issue, you will not have any book, they're gone. We need more books in library. Not much of sports or extra curricular activities happen. Excelsior is the only fest that happens, but there's no news when will it take place! Yess we do have many clubs and students can join it. Usually seniors handles these clubs, but every club have a respective teacher too. WE have clubs like dance club, music club, adventure club and more technical clubs, etc. we also have NCC.

Admission

I chose this college because KU university is a good university with A++ grade ny NAAC. UIET on it own have A++ grade by NAAC. Placement options are pretty good. We have NIT near so we can also have great exposure, like making friends there and having knowledge from NIT students makes a great difference. It's the best college for engineering in Haryana, it was near my house. It included few new branches like CSE(AI & ML), ECO along with CSE, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, BioTechnology, while other colleges still don't have these advanced branches. To get admission to the UIET,KUK, students need to obtain valid score in JEE main entrance exam. Closing rank for the B.Tech in CSE(AI & ML): 70569, ECE: 81609, Electronics and Communication Engineering: 114729, ME: 137458. Students are also required to participate in the physical counselling process at UIET.

Faculty

We have enough faculty for the students. Faculty student relationship is good, students can reach out to techers whenever they need them. Teachers help in every possible way. They are friendly. Every teacher is good. Whenever i faced any problem, i'll reachout the respective teacher and they do help us. During my first sem, i got into an accident and couldn'e attend classes, after talking to teachers, they helped my cover my syllabus and helped me not to stress about it. If u're struggling in your personal life then you can also talk to them. We have 2 sessionals and 1 final for every semester. They are easy if u have studied. Most of students do face Reappears...Checking is really hard..teachers cut marks for every silly mistakes.

Night Life

We have lots of shops outside University. If we want to hangout in University, we usually go to Central Canteen or Indian Coffee House. University market have all the essentials. Girls Hostel have it's own gym while boys can go out to any gym outside. We go to dominos, emporter or McD for hangouts. It's kind of safe to roam out at night, but you never know! Girls hostel closes early too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placements from the 7th sem itself. The companies which some here are mostly unknown companies, except Flipkart, Airtel, Jindal and Reliance. The placement scenario is as follows: CS/IT : Very good placements, avg 4+, highest(from 2023) was 12LPA on campus. Printing/PKG/Food Tech : 100% Placement, in 2024, 10 students got placed with a package of 9.5 LPA. Core branches(Except ECE) : Decent placement, you have to be top employable in your batch to be placed. ECE : Not allowed to sit in software companies, no electronic company comes, worst placement, No need to talk about the package or percentages. You can just be placed in a sales role.
