APCOER Admission Dates 2026

APCOER admissions for the 2026-27 session are governed by DTE Maharashtra’s centralised counselling. BE admissions use MHT-CET or JEE Main scores. MCA admissions use MAH-MCA-CET. ME admissions use GATE or MHT-CET PG scores. The table below lists key dates for the current cycle.

APCOER Courses and Fees

APCOER offers engineering and computing programmes at the UG and PG levels. The total fee for all BE branches is uniform at INR 3.50 Lakhs for four years. The table below covers all programme families with duration, eligibility, and total fees.

The eight BE branches are Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecom Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, AI and Data Science, VLSI Design and Technology, and Advanced Communication Technology. ME specialisations cover Advanced Communication Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and VLSI Design.

APCOER Admission Process

All admissions at APCOER are through DTE Maharashtra’s centralised process. No separate institute-level entrance test is conducted. Maharashtra State Candidature candidates receive preference for state-quota seats over All India Candidature candidates. Management quota seats are available for BE and ME based on Class 12 academic merit.

BE Admission

Candidates seeking BE admission must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or Technology Vocational, with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories). A valid MHT-CET PCM or JEE Main score is required. Admission proceeds through DTE Maharashtra CAP rounds.

Cutoffs at APCOER for Computer Engineering and Information Technology branches in the General Category typically fall in the 70 to 85 percentile range of MHT-CET PCM, based on previous CAP round trends. Civil and Mechanical Engineering branches generally close at lower percentiles.

BE Lateral Entry

Diploma holders in Engineering can seek direct second-year admission through DTE Maharashtra DSY CAP. Eligibility is a diploma in Engineering with a minimum 45% aggregate. Five branches are available under lateral entry.

ME Admission

ME admission at APCOER requires a BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate. A valid GATE score is preferred. Candidates without GATE may apply through MHT-CET PG. Admission is through DTE Maharashtra ME CAP rounds.

MCA Admission

MCA admission requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 or degree level and a minimum 50% aggregate. A valid MAH-MCA-CET score is mandatory. Admission is through DTE Maharashtra MCA CAP.

APCOER Placements

APCOER conducts annual placement drives for BE and MCA students. Core and IT sector companies participate in campus recruitment. Confirmed recruiters who have recruited from APCOER include Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Persistent Systems, Cybage, IBM, Flextronics, and Lentra.

The placement drive covers primarily the Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and AI and Data Science branches. Civil and Mechanical Engineering graduates additionally pursue government sector opportunities and GATE-based postgraduate pathways.

Civil and Mechanical Engineering graduates frequently pursue GATE for higher education or appear in Maharashtra PSC, MPSC, and central government technical examinations.

APCOER Scholarships

APCOER students are eligible for Maharashtra state government scholarships disbursed through the MahaDBT portal. Eligible students must apply on the portal after admission. The table below lists the main scholarships available.

Students must retain the original documents, income certificate, and caste certificate to complete the MahaDBT scholarship application within the stipulated deadline after joining.

APCOER Campus and Infrastructure

APCOER is located in Laxminagar, Pune, which offers good connectivity to the city. The campus houses branch-specific laboratories for Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil disciplines, along with a central computing facility and a library stocked with technical titles and journal access.

The institute has separate laboratories for AI and Data Science and VLSI Design to support its newer BE branches. Faculty hold postgraduate and doctoral qualifications in their respective disciplines. NAAC Grade A accreditation reflects the institute’s academic and infrastructure standards as assessed by an external body.
