  • Tie-breaking order: Part-A (Maths) marks first, then Part-B (Physics), then Part-C (Chemistry). Date of birth (older candidate prioritised) is the final tiebreaker.
  • 85% of seats in each branch go to local candidates from the 8 AU area districts. Candidates must submit a Study Certificate or Residence Certificate to claim local status.

As per a Reddit Discussion on Andhra University engineering admissions, students note that CSE at AUCE is highly competitive due to the large 540-seat intake attracting top AUEET ranks from across the AU area. ECE and EEE branches are smaller but also well-regarded by Visakhapatnam employers.

Key Insight: AUCE B.Tech is a Self-Support Mode programme. Government fee reimbursement is NOT available for these seats. Students from reserved categories should confirm scholarship eligibility before enrolling, as this differs from regular government college seats in Andhra Pradesh.
