Closing cutoffs for AI & Data Science or CSE branches in previous years were much higher than a 43% score, so with a low percentile/poor JEE score, it is unlikely to get CSE/AI branches through merit rounds. You can still try vacancy rounds or institute-level seats, but eligibility requires passing 12th with PCM and meeting the minimum criteria set by the authorities.
