- In the college, hostel should provide the poor facilities to the students.
- Previously gmrit is known for its placements but due to recession and gradual increase in unemployment the placement rate has completely degraded so to overcome this the college is trying to employ the students in its own companies.
- Boys and girls washroom are side by side which is insecure those locate in civil block and mechanical block

Remarks:
One good thing about the college was the infrastructure and the lab facilities provide by them,Its a very big campus with all facilities like hostel,cafeteria. And such a wonderful campus of large area with full of greanery and good weather conditions.

Yes, lateral entry is available in this college for the B.Tech course. The eligibility for the same is 10+3 along with the scores of the ECET entrance exam.
