About IMI Kolkata PGDM
IMI Kolkata, the Kolkata campus of International Management Institute, offers a two-year, full-time PGDM with 180 seats a year at Alipore. It is one PGDM: every student studies the same core subjects in year 1 and picks a major in year 2, from Marketing, Finance, Analytics, HR, Operations and Entrepreneurship. The institute is AICTE approved and AMBA accredited, and NIRF placed it #42 in management in 2025. The full fee is INR 14.83 Lakhs without hostel, the same for every major, and INR 18.53 Lakhs with the cheapest hostel room. Admission is through CAT, XAT or CMAT, then an interview. IMI Kolkata PGDM Fees
The total fees with hostel is INR 18.53 Lakhs and the fees without hostel is INR 14.83 Lakhs. The tuition fee is INR 12.08 Lakhs of that. You pay the same fee whatever major you pick. Hostel and mess are compulsory, and the INR 15,000 security deposit comes back when you leave, so the self-sponsored total with it is INR 14.98 Lakhs. IMI Kolkata PGDM Eligibility
You need 50% marks or an equal CGPA in a bachelor's degree of at least three years, in any subject. Final-year students can apply if they show degree proof by 30 Sep of the joining year. You also need a CAT, XAT or CMAT score; GMAT is only for foreign nationals.

IMI Kolkata PGDM Scholarships
The EWS scholarship waives 100% of tuition, INR 12.08 Lakhs, if your family earns below INR 8 Lakhs a year. It covers up to 5% of seats. The top three students after year 1 can get up to INR 2 Lakhs. You apply for the EWS waiver after admission, with your ITR, PAN and a government income certificate.
