BIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Only last year students are eligible for placement. We get plenty of mail from Training and Placement Office on our college id. There are many companies who visited us like wipro, diloitte and many more. Many came with internship offer and maximum of were choosen by these companies. Maximum package i seen is about 10lakh p.a. , Minimum I seen is 3lakh p.a. and averge 5lakh p.a. we were offered as we are done BCA only. 70 to 80 % of my classmates were got placement in any of these companies. I am thinking of doing MCA from DU or NIT, so i am preparing for this only.

Students become placement-ready from the seventh semester. Before that, they have to register in the placement portal. Now, based on CGPA or percentage or marks, they are shortlisted for companies. Given they have written for them. But what happened during our times very few companies visited on campus. Mostly the companies went to the BIT Mesra campus, and we were left out. Later 2 or 3 companies visited, but that too, for CS students. 1) ZS Associates India Pvt Ltd - 2(placed)(CS) 2) Ericson - 2 CS and 1 IT 3) Reliance Jio - 2 Cs and 2 ECE The placements in companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS were through off-campus placements. Also few other companies like Amadeus, Amdocs, Oracle hired only CS students. Apart from CS and ECE mostly the placements were grim for other branches.

In the 7th semester, the students will be able for campus selections. The highest package of our institutions is 14 lakhs and the average package of our institutions is above 10 lakhs. There is mostly above 70 percent of students in each year get placed on a good company like infosys, Wipro etc

So you must have heard that "placements are bad and biased". Let me tell you; if you know how to code, you have a 90% chance of getting placed. And if you have a CGPA over 7, you will get placements equal to Mesra students, which is really good. Even core companies get moderate placements. I am honestly an GMAT prep student, so I don't intend on taking a job rn. But the placements are good( better yield than Manipal or VIT actually) if you know your game.

I got this college from my crl ranking. I got electrical and electronics engineering. My elder brother suggest me this college becomes sone of his friend also study here. Here is good study environment and good placement record. If u r branch is computer science aur it u got placed. Cs-100% placement It/ece-80%placement Eee-60%placement But u know coding so branch doesn't matter u got placed. Most important faculty are too much helpful.they work hard to teach us and this is most imp fact of my college.

7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. In cse 100 percent placement record ece and eee have 60 to 70 but if you have a coding skill you got placed. Many companies Wipro, amdox and so many companies came for placement. If u have 7 cgpa and more you get placed. In 2019 the highest package is 20 lakh. In 2020 not sure but some get 14 lakh package. I have no plan yet .may be I give some competitive exam after btech

CS and its student have 90 percent placement records ECE and electrical have 70 percent but if a student of any branch knows to code then they will be placed.

It is very close to my House and I wanted to continue my study from Patna Itself. And, It is a reputed college and I got a good reviews from past students. Due to financial reasons I have to stay in Patna and when I shortlisted the colleges for BBA, I got the name of BIT, Patna. As I wanted to pursue in management field so for me this college was the best choice. Currently, the college is providing a lot of facilities in education and overall it's a good experience here.

Please dont get admission to the school and waste your hard earned money

Like the title of the review, all I would say if they work on the management sectors and especially on the exam department, it would become a much better college
