The SICSR- You can make it or break it

Fees -

It may cost around 4.5 to 5 lacs for 3 years of tuition. Yearly fees vary from batch to batch. Fee payment is divided into 2 yearly installments to be paid before semester beginning. Year 1 (approx) Rs. 1,52,000 ( to be paid in 2 installments). Year 2 Rs. 1,61,000( to be paid in 2 installments) Year 3 Rs. 153,500( to be paid in 2 installments) I would say it is quite expensive from return on investment point of view because: Placement package is only 2 to 3 LPA You do not learn enough computer skills (only 10% of it) You can learn these skills in more depth in computer coaching centers. Doesn't train you to apply your skills to an actual software projects. Most teachers do no...

The fee structure during my year costed a little over. Considering it was a good college. It was decent but later for the coming year batches they increased their fees. I wonder why. Because there was no such intensive development going on that time. Plus privatization of education always is paid heftily by the middle class man.

The tuition fee is pretty reasonable and satisfying. Fees is reasonable according to the facilities they provide us. Faculty here is pretty good so the tuition fee is satisfying. More facilities must be provided by the college.

Fee structure is between feasible and expensive. The services improved according to that. Besides that development fee is taken every year.

Fees -

With the quality of teaching, infrastructure, labs, classroom, multi purpose hall and other facilities, the fees is quiet reasonable. The college also organised events, fests etc. on a very regular basis, which makes the fees look worth.

My fee was feasible for me which continued the same for all years of my graduation. There is no mid increment of fees, no extra fees, nothing else. The fees increases 10% every subsequent batch, so i am sure it would be much more no.

The fee structure is being changed every year but as per the latest fee structure it is feasible. One thing that makes it expensive is the development fee which is of no use but it is still fine as per comparison to the other private colleges.

Unfortunately, A Poor Expereince.

Fees -

The fee from 2006 - 2009 was exactly Rs. 45,000 a year which is very feasible and can almost be considered cheap. This fee is payable by students who joined SICSR on the regular lists. I believe there was a "special" quota for those who didn't make the lists. NRI students paid 2.5 to 3 lacs a year - a complete waste of money.

Course Curriculum -

The course is inadequately structured to be very honest. They try and cover too many subjects in the span of 3 years i.e. 6 semesters. You get a basic / broad understanding of every subject but don't get the chance to master any single subject which leaves students pretty ill-equipped upon graduation. I graduated on top of my class winning the Chancellors Gold Medal at the end of 3 years and I felt it wasn't the best use of my time. There is scope for the course to offer a more in-depth experience.
