LR Tiwari College of Engineering Courses and Admission

Undergraduate Course

The College offers a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology. To get admission to the program, the candidate should be an Indian National and must have passed class 12th examination with 50% marks from a recognized board or its equivalent with English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Botany/Technical/Vocational subject. Scoring a valid score in JEE-Main or MHT-CET is necessary to secure a seat. The diploma holders can also apply to the program with 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering/Technology and medium of instruction should be English.

Note: The eligibility for candidates applying under Maharashtra category is 50% marks from Maharashtra State Board and must have obtained a positive score (50% of JEE Main and 50% of class 12th) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Postgraduate Course

The college offers Master of Engineering (M.E) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Engineering. The college accepts students to the M.E Course on the basis of norms laid by the affiliated University.

LR Tiwari College of Engineering Scholarship

The college offers scholarships to those students who belong to the category. The candidates are required to meet the given criteria:

  • The candidate (SBC/OBC/VJ/DT/NT) whose family income is up to one Lakh can apply for the Government of India Scholarship Scheme. Whereas the candidate (SC/ST) whose family income is up to 2 Lakh may apply.
  • The candidates can apply for free ship scheme if income is above one Lakh in case of SBC/OBC/VJ/DT/NT candidates whereas the annual income should be above 2 Lakh to apply in case of ST/SC candidates.
  •  To avail the scholarship scheme, the students must be admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

The Research and Development Cell has been recognized as a resource center for IIT Bombay.
